Amazing, high-quality porcelain item depicting the great Russian bass Fedor Chaliapin (1873-1938) in the title role in the opera Boris Godunov (by M. Mussorgsky), one of his most celebrated roles of his career. A vintage Soviet porcelain polychrome glazed figure of Feodor Chaliapin as Boris Godunov. A model created by Yakov Stroupyansky. Made by LFZ, the Leningrad Porcelain Manufactory, circa 1950s. Size is approx. 11.5 inches high x 4.5 inches wide x 4 inches deep. In excellent condition.

Program for a ballet performance of George Skibine choreography Concerto and other pieces on August 27, 1961, at Teatro Colon (Buenos Aires), signed by both artists on their bio page.  Size is 6.1 x 9.2 inches, minor stains, in overall very good condition.

Italian mezzo-soprano (1900-1988) who sang widely in Italy. Fine black-and-white photograph signed by her and Vittorio Bacciato, Amanda Cetera, and A. Truyol, shown in Menotti's opera The Medium at Teatro Colon, 1956. Size is 9 x 6.5 inches, minor creases, in very good condition.

British conductor (1922-2005), renowned for his advocacy of English music by composers such as Britten, Delius, and Vaughan Williams. Fine black-and-white promo photograph signed by him with a short sentiment on the front plus another sentiment and a short 2-bar music quote on verso; ink-stamped on verso by photographer Carmen (Buenos Aires). Size is 4 x 5.8 inches, in excellent condition.

Argentine dancer (1914-1991), choreographer, and theatre performer in Buenos Aires. Black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment dated 1934; ink-stamped on verso by photographer F. De Renoir. Size is 5 x 6.8 inches, some creases, in overall very good condition.

Italian soprano (1932-1998), Argentine mezzo-soprano (1938-2020). Beautiful black-and-white photograph signed by both artists plus Silvia Baleani, shown backstage during a production of Verdi's Falstaff at Teatro Colon, 1973; a photo by Di Toto, ink-stamped on verso by Alfa Foto (Buenos Aires). Superstar Italian soprano (1843-1919), one of the greatest singers of the 19th century. Silver medal commemorating her career at The Metropolitan Opera. Size is 1.5 inches in diameter, .925 sterling silver, #0360 on edge, minor wear.

South Korean lyric coloratura soprano (b.1962), signed photograph, shown as herself. Size is 8 x 10.5 inches, beautiful photo in excellent condition.

American soprano (b. 1948), signed photograph, shown in role in Massenet's Cendrillon, dated in 1981. Stamped on verso by photographer Daniel Cande, Paris. Size is 6.5 x 9.25 inches, in excellent condition.

Hungarian bass (1887-1971), signature cut and separate photograph, shown as Mephistopheles in Gounod's Faust, both mounted on soft cardboard. Total item size is 8.25 x 11.75 inches, small creases on edges and mounting tape traces on verso, otherwise in excellent condition. 

Hungarian tenor (1891-1957), active from 1912 to 1932, sang in many worldwide theatres including Bayreuth. Signature cut dated in Budapest in 1925 beautifully mounted on a mat which also contains a photograph of him in the title role of Wagner's Tannhauser. Mat is 8.25 x 11.75 inches, beautiful historic item, small creases on edges and mounting tape traces on verso, otherwise in excellent condition.

Italian superstar tenor (1935-2007), one of the world´s most famous vocal performers in history. Pavarotti sang both opera and popular music and was one of the famous Three Tenors. The book Grandissimo Pavarotti signed and inscribed by the tenor on the title page with a short sentiment in 1997; published by Doubleway & Co, New York, 1986. Size is 9.2 x 12.2 inches, hard covers, 224 pages, in excellent condition.

Russian composer (1882-1971), pianist, and conductor; widely considered one of the most important and influential composers of the 20th century. Album page signed by him with a short sentiment in Italian in New York, dated 1944.  Size is 5 x 6.8 inches, in excellent condition.

German-born conductor (1876-1962), pianist, and composer, who worked closely with Gustav Mahler, whose music he helped to establish in the repertory, and is widely considered to be one of the greatest conductors of the 20th century.  2-bar music quote on an album page signed by him with a short sentiment dated in New York, 1943. British conductor (1899-1970) and cellist, particularly associated with the music of English composers and his interpretations of the late Romantic composers such as Mahler and Sibelius. Album page signed by him with a short sentiment in Italian, dated 1959. Also signed on verso by an unknown artist. Size is 5 x 6.8 inches, rust stains, in overall very good condition.

Slovak conductor (b.1976), whose career as a conductor began with the RAI National Symphony Orchestra in 2005 and who was appointed as music director of Teatro di San Carlo. Signed photograph, size is 8 x 10.75 inches, in excellent condition.
