Italian baritone (1856-1928) referred to as the "king of baritones", who debuted in 1878 in Donizetti's "La Favorita" and became a celebrity in the mid-1880s and 1890.  Unsigned CDV/mini-cabinet photo, shown as Escamillo in Bizet's Carmen, photo by Wesenberg, St. Petersburg. Printed letter in Latin (untranslated) hand signed by Antony, King of Saxony, in Dresden August 17, 1834, sent to Ferdinand King of the Two Sicilies.  Size is 8.25 x 13.1 inches, 1 page, folds, small crack at the center, in very good condition. Its original envelope is ALSO INCLUDED B. Letter written in French (untranslated) by another hand and signed by Adolphe, Duke of Nassau, in Biebrich, September 8, 1850, sent to Ferdinand King of the Two Sicilies, congratulating him for the marriage of his brother.
