Italian baritone. Nice black-and-white photo postcard signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment in Italian in Buenos Aires, 1942; shown probably as Figaro in Rossini's Il Barbiere di Siviglia. Size is 3.25 x 5.25 inches, jagged edges, in very good condition.

German tenor. Nice sepia photo postcard signed by him, shown in the title role of Wagner's opera Tannhäuser; blind-stamped over the lower-right corner by A. Strauch. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, jagged edges, in excellent condition.

German opera composer (1864-1949), one of the greatest of the 20th century, whose best-known works are Elektra, Salome, and Der Rosenkavalier.  An original pencil drawing of him signed and inscribed by Strauss in New York, 1922. Size is 10.8 x 13.8 inches, minor stains, in very good condition.

Russian ballet dancer (1890-1950) and choreographer, probably the most celebrated male dancer in the entire history of dance. Fantastic original vintage and unsigned color print from his time, featuring drawings of Nijinsky in different roles. Size is 15.4 x 10.1 inches, in excellent condition.

American tenor (1928-1998), signed photograph, shown as Pinkerton in Puccini's Madama Butterfly, inscribed. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, mounting traces on verso, otherwise in excellent condition.

Italian tenor (1891-1960) and composer. Printed vocal score for his song Lullaby signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment. Size is 9.4 x 11 inches, 8 pages, loose front cover, in very good condition.

Russian conductor and pianist (b.1938), the second child of the celebrated composer Dmitri Shostakovich, and a famous performer of his father's works.  Record sleeve signed by him in 1984. Size is 12.25 x 12.25 inches, in very good condition. (Record Included -not tested).

American composer (1909-1991), and educator.  Printed score of his Violin Concerto signed and inscribed by him at the top. Size is 11.5 x 14.25 inches, 20 pages, soft covers, in excellent condition.

American soprano (1900-?).  Beautiful sepia photograph signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment. Size is 9.75 x 12.25 inches, three missing corners, some creases, otherwise in very good condition.

Large black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment dated in Moscow, 1932, shown in role, mounted on a mat. Total size is 12.8 x 9.75 inches, minor stains, in very good condition.

Printed LP insert for the operas Cavalleria Rusticana and Pagliacci signed by both artists. Size is 12.4 x 12.4 inches, in very good condition.

American composer (1869-1945), teacher, and organist. Score for piano and voice of his work In The Woods signed and inscribed by him in Boston, 1944. Size is 9 x 12 inches, in very good condition. Also signed by the writer of the lyrics Brychan Powell. ALSO INCLUDED is a manuscript of the song signed by Gaines. Size is 10.6 x 13.75 inches, in very good condition.

Finnish soprano (1884-1952) and a leading singer admired by Sibelius and Strauss. Large photograph mounted on a photographer mat by E. Bieber signed by Gramfeld. Total size is 10.25 x 14.5 inches, in very good condition.

Italian soprano (1797-1865), one of the greatest opera singers of the 19th century, who created the roles of Anna Bolena (Donizetti), Amina and Norma (Bellini). Original medal issued in 1977 by the Circolo Numismatico Saronnese commemorating the celebrated soprano who was born in Saronno 1797. Diameter is 2 inches, in excellent condition.

Italian superstar tenor (1890-1957), one of the greatest tenors of all time, often regarded as "the second Caruso". Original medal for a singing competition in Recanati, 1963. Diameter is 1.7 inches, in excellent condition.

English composer (1850-1892). Autograph letter signed by him on April 12 (no year indicated) about business. Size is 5.2 x 8.2 inches, 3 written pages in 1 folded folio, in very good condition. ALSO INCLUDED is the printed vocal score of Nadezhda -an opera produced by Carl Rosa & Company in 1885. Size is 7.5 x 10.5 inches, 345 pages, original covers missing (bounded with different covers), loose front cover, in very good condition.

American composer (1813-1864), music critic, and journalist; the first in the USA to composer for large orchestra and get his own operas publicly performed. Piece of paper with his signature and a short text dated in New York, 1858, mounted on the first page of the score with selections from his opera Leonora (1845) published by E. Ferrett & Co. (Philadelphia). Size is 10.3 x 13.3 inches, 12 pages, soft covers, water stains on score, front cover a bit loose but in overall very good condition.

Italian conductor and cellist (1848-1921). Small card signed by the conductor in New York, 1901, with a short 2-bar music quote attached to the back of the front cover of the printed vocal score of his work Ero e Leandro (world-premiered in concert version in 1965), published by Novello, Ewer & Co (1896), 1st edition, London. Size is 8.25 x 11 inches, 242 pages, card is 4 x 2.5 inches, in excellent condition (card), in good condition (score).

French artist (1878-1921). Fine oleo painting on wood of the famous mezzo-soprano Celestine Galli-Marié signed by him over the upper-right corner. Size is 7.5 x 9.4 inches, in excellent condition.

Famous Hungarian composer (1870-1948), mostly known for his operettas of which the most successful and best known is Die Lustige Witwe (The Merry Widow).  Original printed vocal score of his 3-act operetta La Chanson du Bonheur signed and inscribed by him with a long sentiment in Paris, 1935, on page 1. Size is 9.6 x 12.5 inches, 131 pages, soft covers, in very good condition.

American composer (1871-1943), conductor, teacher, and musicologist; one of the leading indianist composers of the early twentieth century. Autograph letter with his letterhead signed by him on May 12, 1905, mounted on page 4 of an original first edition (1909) vocal bilingual German-English score of his 3-act opera Poia, published by Adolph Fürstner (Berlin). Letter is 5.25 x 6.6 inches, score is 10.7 x 13.25 inches, 142 pages, soft covers, damage on binding, in overall very good condition. Poia was heard in concert in Pittsburgh in 1907 with good reviews and his full orchestral premiere was in 1910 at the Berlin Royal Opera House, in German.

French violinist (1874-1934) and composer, who obtained Swedish citizenship in 1915. Beautiful sepia photo postcard signed by him, shown posing with his violin. Size is 3.25 x 5.25 inches, some silvering by the borders, otherwise in excellent condition.

Serbian soprano (b. 1937), signed photograph, shown in role. Stamped on verso by photographer Miroslav Krstic, Belgrade. Size is 4 x 5.75 inches, slight creases on edges, otherwise in excellent condition.

Italian soprano (1877-1955), starred in the world premiere production of Pietro Mascagni's Isabeau in 1911. Signed postcard, dated in Buenos Aires in 1904 with an image of Puccini's Madama Butterfly. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, beautiful vintage item, in excellent condition.

Hungarian soprano (1910-1985), signed postcard photograph, shown in role (possibly Puccini's Tosca). Stamped on verso by photographer Vajda M. Pal, Budapest. Size is 3.25 x 5.25 inches, slight paper loss on edges and some stains on verso, otherwise in good condition.

Argentinian tenor (1923-2007), signed photograph, shown in role, shown as Roberto in Puccini's Le Villi. Size is 3 x 3.75 inches, mounting traces on verso, otherwise in very good condition.
