Fantastic set of 6 photo postcards signed by English actresses, including Ygona Vivian in the comedy "As You Were", Nora Delany (1887-1977), Ivey Latimer, Florence Lloyd (1876-?), Millie Gordon, and Minnie Watersford. English actor (1901-1989), mostly noted for his interpretation of Shakespearean characters, active between 1926 and 1983. Program for a performance of the play "King Richard II" signed and inscribed by him on his photo-portrait as Richard II. Size is 8.75 x 11.75 inches, full program with all pages and covers, loose covers, some wear on corners, otherwise in very good condition.

German actress (1872-1939). Beautiful cabinet photograph signed by her, dated in Berlin, 1902; an original by Loescher & Petsch, Berlin. Size is 4.25 x 6.5 inches, in very good condition.

German actress (b.1954), German actress (b.1943), German actress (b.1944), and German actor (b.1938). Fantastic larger-size color photograph signed by all four artists, shown in the theater play "Fisch" (Fish).  Size is 7.9 x 11.75 inches, in excellent condition.

French actress (1821-1858), well known in her time as "Rachel", was a prominent figure in society, reputed to be the mistress of Napoleon III and other important figures. A beautiful collection of letters, documents, lithographs, and memorabilia related to the French actress. This collection includes her original passport with many visas, stamps, and signatures, 6 autographs letters in French signed by her (no translation), 3 autograph notes handwritten by her in the third person but not signed, 3 original lithographs of her from her time, 1 carte-de-visite by photographer Mayern & Pierson, 3 original playbills from her time (Boston, London, Edinburgh), plus one modern print of her (which is the last scanned image). French music hall performer, actress, singer, and dancer (1890-1926) who committed suicide at the Drury Lane Theatre in London. Signed photograph, shown in role, bold handwriting and signature. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, in excellent condition.

English actress (1883-1967). Wonderful black and white photo postcard signed by her, shown in role. Size is 3.3 x 5.4 inches, minor damage over the lower corners, otherwise in excellent condition.

English actress (1905-1962), considered a versatile Shakespearean actress. Autograph letter in English signed by her, no date, thanking a certain Mr. Wheelhouse for his kind letter. Size is 4.9 x 8 inches, 1 page, central fold, some spotted rust, with letterhead, tape residues over the lower back part of the sheet, otherwise in very good condition.

Hungarian-born American actress and socialité (1917-2016). Program for a performance of Jay Presson Allen's play "Forty Carats" featuring Zsa Zsa Gabor and signed by her on the front cover with a green felt tip pen. Size is 5.8 x 9 inches, 32 pages, in excellent condition.

Polish-born animal trainer (1934-2001) for famous international circuses.  Black-and-white promo photograph signed and inscribed by him with a golde color felt tip pen. Size is 10 x 8 inches, in excellent condition.

American circus performer whose real name was Charles Sherwood Stratton (1838-1883), a dwarf who achieved great fame. Set of 2 cards: one signed and inscribed by him; and another by his wife who dated her autograph on November 12, 1915. Thumb's card is 3.3 x 1.7 inches, fading ink but still visible, his wife's is 4.6 x 2.75 inches and with mounting traces on verso. SOLD TOGETHER, NOT SOLD SEPARATELY.

American actress (1877-1975), and singer.  Great black and white photo postcard signed by her with a short sentiment, shown in a play. Size is 3.5 x 5.4 inches, silvering on edges, in very good condition.

Set of signed programs and playbills with signatures of leading German and Austrian stage actors and 1 actress mostly from the 1950s. Several are complete programs containing all pages and covers, all written in German and many include photos of the artists. The performers include Erich Auer, Ernst Wurm, Hildegard Knef, Oskar Werner, and Walter Reyer among others. Most are about 5 x 8.5 inches in size. In excellent condition, not sold separately.

Spanish actress (1867-1928), producer and director, all her career was in theater (not in film), in zarzuelas, comedies and adaptations of Spanish classics. Together with her husband, she created the Teatro Cervantes in Buenos Aires (1921). Signed photo postcard, shown in role, size is 3.3 x 5.4 inches, in very good condition. ALSO INCLUDED are 2 photo postcards of her, signed by her husband, Spanish actor and impresario Fernando Diaz de Mendoza (1862-1930).

Italian actress who also performed in opera (1840-?), signed cabinet photograph, shown in role, inscribed with additional text on verso, dated in Bologna in 1889. Photo by Emblemi and Ballarini photographers. Size is 4 x 8 inches, some cracks at the top and on the edges of the photo and bullet holes on the bottom not affecting image and signature, otherwise in good condition.

French cabaret singer (1865-1944), and actress of the Belle Epoque, who also performed in silent films.  Beautiful photo postcard signed by her.  Size is 3.5 x 5.4 inches, postage marks on verso indicating the year 1912, in very good condition.

American actor (1879-1955), theater manager, and major Broadway star in New York. Fine menu page signed by him, for a dinner in his honor hosted by the Lotos Club on February 10th, 1929, at the Supper Club, New York.  Menu has Hamden's image in various roles printed on the Menu.   Menu's size is 9.4 x 13.75 inches, minor damages on the borders, mounting traces on verso, in overall excellent condition.
