English Shakespearean stage actor (1854-1928). Card signed by him, mounted over a slightly larger piece of cardboard. Size is 5.6 x 3.5 inches, in excellent condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a couple of Magazine clips about him and his career.

American actress and soprano (1861-1923) who performed on stage in dramas, musical comedy and opera. Late in her life Martinot would fall victim to mental illness and spend her last few years confined to psychiatric institutions. Fine cabinet photograph signed by her, dated in 1890. Size is 4.25 x 6.5 inches, crease and age toning around edges, in very good condition.

American actress and singer (1878-1948), who performed in theater shows and some films in the US and England, mostly known for her role in Edwardian musical comedies, and became a popular postcard beauty.  Fantastic cabinet-style photograph signed by her with a short sentiment, shown in role in a comedy; a photo by Alfred Ellis & Walery, London.  Size is 4.25 x 6.5 inches, in very good condition.

English actress (1890-1973) on stage, TV, and film. Autograph letter signed by her, with the letterhead with an address, about personal matters and upcoming engagements, dated April 2, 1970. Size is 6 x 8.2 inches, 2 pages written on one sheet, folds, in excellent condition.

English actress (1879-1952) and singer. Beautifully colorized photo postcard signed and dated by her in 1903, shown young. Size is 3.5 x 5.4 inches, silvering on borders, small loss of paper over the lower-right corner, photo corners marks over the upper corners, in overall good condition.

American actress (1923-2004), dancer, and singer; active between 1934-2001. Program for a performance of the musical "Sugar Babies" (1979-1983) signed by her and dated on July 5th, 1981.  Size is 9 x 11.8 inches, full program with all pages and covers, minor stains, otherwise in very good condition.

French stage director (b.1939) and founder of the Parisian avant-garde stage ensemble Théâtre du Soleil in 1964. Fine color photograph signed by her with a simple drawing. Sie is 6.9 x 5 inches, in excellent condition.

Set of two wonderful sepia photographs signed and inscribed by her, shown as herself.  Each one's size is 7.8 x 8.9 inches (trimmed from a larger size), one of them has a loss of paper over the lower-left corner and cracks over the upper border; both in good condition. Scottish actor (1790-1852) and theater manager and owner, particularly associated with the works of sir Walter Scott. Autograph note signed by him, with the name of his theater at the top.  Size is 4.3 x 7.3 inches, 1 pages, central fold, in very good condition.

English actress (1868-1957). Beautiful black and white photo postcard signed by her, shown in the play "The Scarlet Pimpernel"; photo is also handwritten with a short text by her on verso. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, silvering on edges, otherwise in very good condition.

Signed cabinet-style photograph, shown in a variety of roles, inscribed and dated in Torino in 1889. Photo by Alvino and company photographers, Florence. Italian stage actor and playwright (1851-1919), played character and leading comedy parts in leading theatrical companies between 1871 and 1884, later opened several of his own companies and appeared in a number of early silent films. Signed photograph, shown as himself, dated in Montevideo in 1904. Bold handwriting and signature. This is a 3.5 x 5.5 postcard photograph mounted onto a larger piece of paper whose verso contains an inscription and signature by the Italian conductor Oscar Anselmi (1892-?), dated in Montevideo in 1906. Total item size is 4.75 x 7.5 inches, small smudges and stains not affecting handwriting and signature on either side, otherwise in very good condition. 

Program for a performance of this very popular musical by Rodgers & Hammerstein, on March 31st, 1943, signed by four actors on the front cover (Evelyn Wyckoff, Kenneth Le Roy, Ann Newland), plus at least 15 additional signatures by members of the cast on the Ad enclosed in the program.  Size is 6.25 x 8.9 inches, full program with all pages and covers, some damage on the front cover, binding a bit loose, otherwise in very good condition.

French theater and film actress (1909-1985). Beautiful black and white photograph signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment, shown young. Photograph is ink-stamped on verso by Studio Star, Paris.  Size is 5 x 7 inches, in very good condition.

British actor, theater director and writer (1887-1964), known mainly for his popular biographies which made him the leading British biographer of his time, in terms of commercial success. Set of 2 1 page typed letters signed, both dated in 1949 addressed to various editors of the Saturday Review of Literature, an American literary publication referring to his published review of a book about George Bernard Shaw. Also included is the 6 page typed review. Each of these three documents are 8 x 10 inches, with several creases and folds, but in otherwise very good condition. Not sold separately.
