Italian Castrato (1762-1846), one of the very last of that singing type, also noted singing teacher and composer. Appeared in the world premieres of several noteworthy operas by Mayr, Zingarelli, and Cimarosa. Autograph letter signed, dated in 1834, written to "Mrs. Pacini" (possibly the wife of composer Giovanni Pacini). Written in Italian, sold with English translation. 1 page, size is 7.75 x 9.75 inches, some small rust stains, but otherwise in very good condition. Very rare historic item!
