French tenor (1806-1896), famous for being the creator of the role of Edgardo in the world premiere of Lucia di Lammermoor (1835) among other career high points. Set of 4 autograph letters signed, from between 1843 and 1858, in French (sold with translations) - plus one engagement contract 1828-1831 for the Theatre Royal de L`Odeon, printed but signed by him at the end. A total of five items, sizes from 4.9 x 7.25 inches
to 8.25 x 10.5 inches, all in very good condition, not sold separately.
