Danish (and later American) tenor (1890-1973), signed photo postcard, shown as Tristan, one of his greatest roles, at the Bayreuth Festival in 1931. Melchior was the pre-eminent Wagnerian tenor of the 1920's to the 1940's and is considered by many to remain unsurpassed. Size is 3.6 x 5.6 inches
