Italian soprano (1892-1981), particularly active in Italy following the First World War but whose career came to a close in 1937 because of her Jewish ancestry (was forced to remain hidden until 1943-1944). Signed postcard photograph, shown most likely in role, signed on front with additional signature and inscription on verso, dated in 1923. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, some paper loss on edges, otherwise in very good condition. 

American soprano, whose real name was Helen Daniels (1905-1985), signed postcard photograph, shown in role (signed as "Elena Danieli".) Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, in excellent condition.

Belgian soprano, signed photograph, shown in role (possibly Marguerite in Gounod's Faust), inscribed in Lyon, dated in 1929. Stamped on verso by photographer R. Marchand, Brussels. Size is 5.75 x 8.25 inches, small creases on edges, otherwise in excellent condition.

Argentinian mezzo-soprano (1921-?), signed photograph, shown as herself, inscribed at the Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires, dated in 1948. Size is 4 x 6 inches, small bumps on front and mounting traces on verso, discount reflected in price.

French soprano (1921- 2016) and French baritone (1905-?), double signed photograph, shown as Mimi and Marcello in Puccini's La Boheme, inscribed by each. Stamped on verso by photographer Max Erlanger de Rosen, Paris. Size is 5 x 7 inches, small creases and bends, otherwise in good condition. 

British soprano (b. 1941), signed photograph, shown as Brunnhilde in Wagner's Der Ring des Nibelungen at the 1990 Bayreuth Festival. Photo by Wilhelm Rauh, Bayreuth. Size is 4 x 5.75 inches, in excellent condition.

Belgian soprano (b. 1945), signed postcard photograph, shown in role in Oscar Straus's operetta Ein Walzertraum at the Vienna Volksopera, inscribed. Stamped on verso by photographer Elisabeth Hausmann, Vienna. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, in excellent condition. 

American mezzo-soprano/contralto and voice teacher (1878-1934). Signed postcard photograph, shown in role. Blind stamped on front by photographer Mishkin, New York. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, in excellent condition. 

American contralto (1892-1964). Fine sepia photograph mounted on a slightly large piece of soft cardboard, signed by the contralto in red ink, shown in role (probably as Amneris in Verdi's Aida).  Size is 8 x 10 inches, small crack over the upper-left corner, in very good condition. ON VERSO there is a photograph of the Russian mezzo-soprano Klinova signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment, shown as Carmen; photo by Herman Mishkin, New York.  Size is 5.9 x 8 inches, minor cracks, in very good condition.

Japanese soprano (1884-1946) and American contralto (1892-1935). Fantastic black-and-white photograph of the Japanese soprano mounted on soft hard cardboard, signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment, dated in 1922.  Total size is 8.1 x 10 inches (actual photo is 7 x 8.75 inches). ON VERSO there is another autograph by Sophie Braslau signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment, also dated in 1922.  Size is 7.9 x 9.9 inches, some wrinkles and mounting damages.

American soprano (1893-1981). Fine black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by the soprano with a short sentiment, dated in 19122.  Size is 7.2 x 9.5 inches, mounting traces on verso, minor stains, in overall very good condition.

Romanian-born American soprano (1884-1938), who enjoyed an important career at the Metropolitan Opera, New York. Fantastic black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment, shown as herself, dated in 1922.  Size is 7.9 x 9.9 inches, blind stamp on the lower-right corner by Maurice Goldberg, abundant mounting traces on verso, in very good condition.

German opera singer, film, and television actress (b.1936).  Signed postcard photograph, shown as herself.  Photo by E. Huber, Deining, Germany. Size is 4 x 5.75 inches, in very good condition.

Stamped on verso by photographer Karl Bauermann, Frankfurt. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, in excellent condition.

German soprano (1890-?), signed postcard photograph, shown as Els in Franz Schreker's opera Der Schatzgraber, a role she performed in the opera's world premiere production at the Frankfurt opera in 1920, shown with the tenor Erik Wirl in the role of "The Fool." Stamped on verso by photographer Karl Bauermann, Frankfurt. Italian soprano (1908-2003), signed photograph, shown as Agathe in Weber's Der Freischutz, inscribed. Blind signed on front by photographer Villiani, Bologna. Size is 4 x 5.75 inches, very small creases on bottom, otherwise in excellent condition.

German soprano (1886-1977) who had a successful career as an interpreter of Strauss and Wagner heroines.  Signed photograph, shown in the title role of Puccini's Madama Butterfly, a 6.25 x 8 inch photo, mounted onto a 9.75 x 12.5 inch soft cardboard mat, inscribed.  Some small creases on far edges of the cardboard, otherwise in excellent condition.

Dutch baritone (1867-1926). Signed photograph, shown as himself. This is a 4 x 5.5 inch photo mounted onto cardboard, signature is on the cardboard directly below the actual photo, not the photo itself. Photo by C.J.L. Vermeulen, Rotterdam.
