Irish soprano (1889-1958), signed postcard photograph, shown most likely in role. Contains printed signature of photographer Traub. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, small crack near top of photo, and slight paper loss on edges, otherwise in excellent condition.

German baritone (1887-1958), signed postcard photograph, shown in role, dated in Graz in 1917. Size is 3.5 x 5.25 inches, slight silvering at the top, otherwise attractive vintage item in excellent condition.

English lyric baritone and later actor (1853-1922), leading performer of the D'Oyly Carte Company known especially for Gilbert and Sullivan and operetta works. Signed photo postcard shown in role in Gilbert and Sullivan's Mikado.  Photo by Langfield. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, there is a crease at the bottom left and wear on edges but otherwise in good condition.

Czech soprano (1868-1952), also known as Jenny Grosz-Pohlner, whose career focused mostly on operetta,  and who later became a singing teacher. Signed half-tone photograph, shown as herself or possibly in role, signed and inscribed in Vienna, dated in 1898.  Bold handwriting and signature. Size is 4.25 x 6.5 inches, in excellent condition.

Irish bass (1837-1898), professionally known as "Signor Foli" (in accordance with the then prevailing preference for Italian artists).   Signed page (signed as "A.B. Foli"), dated in London in 1885. The signature is on the first page of a folded 4-page document, each page is 4.5 x 7 inches, stains not affecting the signature, some mounting traces on the final page, otherwise in good condition.

Hungarian soprano (1892-1941), signed postcard photograph, shown in role. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, some mounting traces at the very top of the postcard, outside area of image and signature, otherwise in very good condition.

Austrian soprano (1878-1942) of Jewish origin, whose career developed during the early 1900s, then became a concert singer and teacher before her tragic murder during the Nazi Holocaust at a concentration camp in Belorussia near Minsk in 1942. Signed postcard photograph, shown in role, dated in Vienna in 1905. Her real handwritten signature is at the top of the photo, with an additional printed signature on the bottom right. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, some silvering and mounting traces on verso, otherwise a beautiful historic item in excellent condition.

Bold and clear handwriting and signature. 6.5 x 7 inch photo mounted onto cardboard, all handwriting is on the bottom cardboard, not on the photo itself. total size is 9.5 x 12 inches, some tears and holes on edges of the cardboard not affecting any of the writing or signature, photo itself is in excellent condition.

South Korean soprano (b.1959). Beautiful color photograph signed by her, shown as Pamina in Mozart's "Die Zauberflöte" at The Metropolitan Opera.  Size is 7 x 5 inches, in excellent condition.

Spanish tenor (1877-1946), who had a very successful career in Europe and America, sang mainly in Madrid and Milan, specialized in romantic Italian and Spanish operas. Signed photograph, shown in role, dated in 1911-12. 6.5 x 10 inch photo mounted onto soft cardboard, total item size is 9.75 x 11.75 inches, very small stains at the bottom of the photo outside area of image and signature, otherwise in excellent condition.

Italian mezzo-soprano and composer (1894-1996), wife and former pupil of composer Ottorino Respighi. Signed half-tone photograph, shown as herself, inscribed and dated in Rio de Janeiro in 1928. This is a 7 x 9.5 inch vintage photo mounted onto soft cardboard, total item size is 10 x 13 inches, some creases on the far edges of the cardboard, photo itself is in excellent condition.
