German mezzo-soprano (1928-2021), German opera director and manager (1900-1988), and American mezzo-soprano (1938-1993), triple signed postcard photograph, showing them in a rehearsal setting. Photo by Ellinger, Salzburg. Size is 4 x 5.75 inches, in very good condition. 

Polish soprano (1867-1951), signed portrait-style photograph of her (artist is Erich Probst), signed on front with additional signature and inscription on verso, dated in 1946. Size is 4 x 5.75 inches, in excellent condition.

Finnish-Swedish bass (1903-1985), signed postcard photograph, shown in the title role of Wagner's Der Fliegende Hollander, dated in 1948. Size is 4 x 5.25 inches, in excellent condition.

Austrian baritone (1904-1982), signed photograph, shown as himself. Printed signature on front of photographer James Abresch, New York. Size is 8 x 10 inches, very small creases on some corners, otherwise in very good condition.

Argentine tenor (1890-?),  signed postcard photograph, shown as himself, inscribed and dated in 1945 in Montevideo, Uruguay. Bold handwriting and signature. Size is 3.25 x 5.25 inches, in excellent condition  

American mezzo-soprano and film actress (1885-1958), appeared as La Frugola in the world premiere production of Puccini's Il Tabbaro at the Metropolitan Opera, New York in 1918. Signed photograph, shown most likely in role, inscribed.  Printed signature on front of photographer Fernand De Gueldre, Chicago. Size is .9.5 x 14 inches, small crease on top right, otherwise in very good condition.

Star Italian baritone (1866-1936), one of the most important singers of the Metropolitan Opera for over 25 years. Signature cut, dated in Baltimore in 1908, 1.75 x 3.75 inches matted on the bottom portion of a very attractive larger mat. Also included in another window at the top of the mat is a 4.5 x 6.5 inch photograph of him in role. Total item size is 8 x 12 inches, some mounting traces on verso, otherwise in excellent condition.

Portuguese baritone (1856-1921), who sang leading roles in opera houses throughout Europe. Large signed album page with attached photograph, shown as himself, dated in Munich in 1911. Photo by M. German tenor (1870-1953), particularly known for Wagnerian repertoire. Large signed album page with attached postcard photograph, showing him as Siegfried in Wagner's Ring Cycle, dated in 1914. Bold handwriting and signature. The postcard photo taken by Percy Hein, Munich, is 3.25 x 5.25 inches and is mounted onto soft cardboard, total item size is 8 x 10.5 inches, vintage item in excellent condition.  

Maltese tenor of German origin (1873-1926), one of the most important heldentenors of the early twentieth century.  Large signed album page with attached photograph, shown as himself, dated in Munich in 1914. This item includes a 3.25 x 4.75 inch photo postcard mounted onto soft cardboard, total item size is 8 x 10.5 inches, slight silvering on top left of photo, otherwise in excellent condition.  

German soprano (1875-1936), large signed album page with attached photograph of her in the role of Eva in Wagner's Die Meistersinger, dated in Munich in 1914. Bold handwriting and signature. This includes a 3.5 x 5.25 inch photo postcard by A. Baumann mounted onto soft cardboard, total item size is 8 x 10.5 inches, vintage item in excellent condition.  

German opera singer (1877-1952), considered one of the greatest Wagnerian sopranos of the early 20th century, appearing in every opera house throughout Europe. Large signed album page with attached photograph of her in the role of Brunnhilde in Wagner's Ring Cycle, dated in Munich in 1913. Bold handwriting and signature. This includes a 3.5 x 5.25 inch photo postcard by A. Baumann mounted onto soft cardboard, total item size is 8 x 10.5 inches, very attractive vintage item in excellent condition.  

American mezzo soprano and later soprano (1867-1950), large signed album page with attached photo mounted on soft cardboard, shown most likely as herself, dated in 1913. Total Size is 8 x 10.5 inches, attractive vintage item in excellent condition. 

English contralto (1912-1953) whose death at the peak of her fame was a surprise to the musical world. Album page with her signature cut matted together with her photograph. Total size is 9.75 x 13.6 inches, signature cut is 4 x 1.75 inches (visible window size), photo is 4 x 5.1 inches, in excellent condition  

Star Swedish tenor (1911-1960), one of the greatest of the 20th century.  LP record signed by the tenor on one of its sides. Diameter is 11.8 inches, broken (missing border), glue residues, Victor Record Catalogue Number 12150. Not tested.  LP records signed by Bjorling are rare.

South African soprano (1900-1968), signed photograph, shown as herself, inscribed. Size is 9.5 x 9.75 inches, mounting traces on verso, otherwise in very good condition.

Italian soprano (1877-1928) particularly associated with the dramatic roles of the verismo repertoire and the works of Richard Wagner.  Signed photograph, shown probably in role, inscribed with a short sentiment.  Total size is 8 x 11.5 inches, actual photo is 6.5 x 10.25 inches mounted onto soft cardboard, small creases on edges of the cardboard and mounting traces on verso, otherwise in very good condition.

Italian soprano (1875-1926), made her 1892 debut in Pisa as Leonora in Verdi's Il Trovatore, also sang widely in France and Russia.  Beautiful signed cabinet photograph, shown as herself, inscribed. Photo by Julius Goebel, Bad-Ems, Haus Vichy. Size is 6.75 x 9.75 inches, beautiful vintage item in excellent condition. 

Famous Italian singing teacher (1839-1910), son of the singing teacher Francisco Lamperti. He was the author of The Technics of Bel Canto (1905) and source for Vocal Wisdom: Maxims of Giovanni Battista Lamperti (1931). Signed photograph, shown as himself, inscribed and dated in 1902. The photo is 4.25 x 5.75 inches mounted onto soft cardboard (the signature is on the bottom of the cardboard not on the photo), total item size is 8.5 x 9.5 inches. Some mounting traces on verso and small rips on far edges of the cardboard, otherwise in excellent condition.   

German bass (1845-?), signed large album page, dated in Chicago in 1882. Bold handwriting and signature. Size is 9 x 11 inches, small rips and tears on the far edges of the page, not affecting text and signature.

German soprano (1885-1955), who developed a very important career in the United States and Europe, and debuting at the Met Opera in 1912, focusing on concert recitals after 1919. Fine large black and white signed photograph, shown in role. Stamped on verso by photographer Alfred Cheney Johnston. Size is 9 x 12 inches, small creases and bends, otherwise in very good condition.

Czech-born German soprano (1879-1954), longtime partner of the celebrated Austrian conductor Felix Mottl whom she only married on his deathbed in 1911 after he collapsed conducting a performance of Tristan und Isolde in Munich. Signed album page on soft cardboard containing a 3.5 x 5.5 inch postcard photograph of her as Venus in Wagner's Tannhauser (the photo contains a printed signature, the handwritten signature is on the bottom of the cardboard on which this photo is matted), dated in Munich in 1913. There is also a musical quote from the opera.  Total item size is 8 x 10.5 inches, beautifully preserved in excellent condition.

French bass (1868-1933), who starred in the world premiere performances of Arrigo Boito's Nerone.  Beautiful photograph signed and inscribed by him, dated in 1926. Square-shaped photograph with a size of 5.5 x 8.75 inches, mounted onto a larger soft cardboard piece for a total size of 8.5 x 12 inches, there are signatures at both the bottom of the photo as well as on the cardboard. Blind stamped on front by Varischi and Artico photographers, Milan. Some silvering, otherwise in excellent condition. 

German baritone (1888-1952), signed photograph, shown as himself, inscribed in Bayreuth, dated in 1930. Size is 8 x 10 inches, small cracks on the right edges of the photo, otherwise in good condition.  

Italian mezzo-soprano (1910-1983), signed photograph, shown in role (likely Amneris in Verdi's Aida), dated in Rome in 1954. Signed 6.5 x 9 inch photo mounted on soft cardboard, total item size is 9 x 11.75 inches, signature and inscription is on the cardboard at the bottom. Hand-written signature of photographer on the bottom of the photo itself. Small bends, otherwise in very good condition.

American soprano (1914-1990), who created the title role in Vanessa, opera by Samuel Barber, at the world premiere in 1958 at the Metropolitan Opera. Signed photograph, shown as herself, inscribed. Photo by Bender photography studio. Size is 8 x 10 inches, in excellent condition. 

Greek-born French soprano (1913-2002), signed photograph, shown in role, inscribed. Stamped on verso by photographer David of Paris. Size is 7 x 9.5 inches, in very good condition.

Famous Italian voice teacher (1874-1963), former teacher of Beniamino Gigli and Giacomo Lauri-Volpi, among many others. Signed photograph, shown as himself, inscribed with sentiment and dated in New York in 1951. Size is 7.5 x 10 inches, slight wear on edges and small tear on far left not affecting image or signature, otherwise in very good condition. 

Italian tenor (1889-1965), considered the greatest tenore di grazia and one of the most popular tenors of the century. Fine photograph by Lumière signed by the tenor with a short sentiment, dated in 1932. Size is 8 x 9.9 inches, some stains over the upper-left corner and right border, otherwise in very good condition.

Romanian soprano (1904-1992), signed photograph, shown in role, inscribed and dated in 1945. Photo by De Bellis, New York. Size is 7.75 x 9.75 inches, slight paper loss on bottom left and nearby bends, otherwise in good condition. Priced accordingly

Star Swedish soprano (1820-1887), known as the "Swedish Nightingale", she was one of the biggest opera stars of the 19th century. Autograph letter signed, 1 page, written in German, sold with a typed English translation. Dated in Vienna in May 1846. The original text is on the first page of a four-page folded document, size of each page is 9 x 11.25 inches, some small creases and folds on various edges of the documents not affecting text and signature. Otherwise in very good condition. 

German baritone (1915-2005), set of 3 autograph letters signed, 1 page each, written in German, sold untranslated. Each written in Munich, dated in 1953 and 1954, and are addressed to Karl Maria Zwissler, the director of the Mainz Stadtisches Theater. Sizes range from 5.75 x 8.25 inches to 7.25 x 10.5 inches. In excellent condition, not sold separately.

German bass-baritone (1893-1980), 1 typed letter signed, 1 page, written in German, sold untranslated, dated in Munich in 1960 (verso contains response probably from the original recipient). Size is 8.25 x 11.75 inches, in excellent condition. 

American bass-baritone (1916-1967), set of 2 autograph letters signed, both written in German, sold untranslated. One of these is 2 pages, the other 1 page, each written on the stationary of the Eden-Hotel-Wolff in Munch, size is 5.75 x 8.25 inches, in excellent condition. Not sold separately.
