Famous English painter (1810-1890), most notable as a precursor of pre-Raphaelitism.  Original pencil drawing of star French-born mezzo-soprano Maria Malibran (1808-1836), one of the greatest singers in her time, who died at age 28. Malibran is shown in La Sonnambula (Bellini´s opera, premiered in 1831) one of her most successful roles. Drawing is 5.3 x 7.75 inches, and is in excellent condition. It is mounted on light cardboard, presented on a luxurious dark blue suede mat that is 12.1 x 14.3 inches in total, and can be easily removed if desired.  

British commercial artist (1905-1967). Fine photograph of his sketch signed by him. Size is 4.75 x 7 inches, big crease across, otherwise in very good condition.  

English artist (1854-1914). Original hand-made drawing of a woman in a chair dated March 20, 1884, made by him on the back of an invitation from one of his exhibits. Size is 4.4 x 6 inches, in excellent condition.

Autograph music quote on a page with 4 bars from "Kiss me Again" signed and inscribed by him, dated December 31st, 1923.  On the top right there is a piece of paper with the signature of the American actress and vocalist Fritzi Scheff. Total size is 7 x 6.75 inches, some stains, folds, in very good condition.

Guernsey-born American composer (1859-1924), cellist and conductor, best known for his operettas from 1890 through the end of World War I.  Large signed photo, and original print by White, New York, inscribed and dated by him in 1920, with 2 bars of music from his opera "Natoma", one of his only 2 grand operas. Natoma was premiered in 1911 with a cast including Mary Garden and John McCormack. Size is 9.8 x 11.9 inches, small loss of paper on two corners, and a larger loss of paper over the bottom left corner that has been repaired with similar-color paper. See scan.

Great signed photo with a music quote, dated in 1920, inscribed. The music quote is from his "Petite Valse", part III of the "3 pieces for cello and piano" he composed between 1900 and 1906. Size is 7.25 x 9 inches. Also included is a letter handwritten and signed by him, briefly apologizing for a delay in sending this autograph. This is a very nice pair Photo has storage holes and a couple of scratches over the top right - neither affect his image or writing. Overall in very good condition, letter is in excellent condition

German conductor (b.1931). Larger size color Cibachrome* print signed by the conductor, shown in rehearsal in Philadelphia, 1986; also signed on verso by photographer Allen Winigrad.  Size is 10.9 x 13.9 inches, mounting traces on verso, otherwise in excellent condition. *Cibachrome prints are high-quality prints from color transparency enlarged onto reversal color paper. This paper already has the emulsion incorporated and gives exceptional color brilliance.

American cartoonist and author (1909-2001), known for his commentaries on domestic and foreign policy, his artistic name was Herblock. Signed book "Through the Looking Glass - The Reagan Years in Words and Pictures", first edition, 1984, published by W.W. Norton and Co, New York. 287 numbered pages with many full-page caricatures, hardcovers, dust jacket. Signed by Block on the frontend page, size is 6.4 x 9.5 inches, in very good condition.
