British impresario (1885-1953). Typed letter in English signed by him, dated August 16, 1934, to Arturo Toscanini: “…I see by an announcement made in the London newspapers today that you have agreed to conduct two concerts for the British Broadcasting Corporation in May of next year, and I am wondering whether it would be possible for you to also conduct the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra if I am able to bring it to London at about the same time…”.  Size is 7.9 x 9.9 inches, 2 typed pages in one sheet (front and back), with letterhead, central fold, staple holes at the upper-left corner, in overall very good condition.

Gorgeous autograph music quote with 11 bars from a song for voice and piano, signed by him and dated in 1874, inscribed to his sister-in-law, Lulu Gerstäcker, in Vienna. Size is 5.25 x 8.5 inches, in excellent condition.

Very unusual and unique item - a lock of hair from the celebrated American contralto (1871-1947). It is contained in a 4.25 x 2.7-inch envelope with her signed initials on the outside of the envelope. Rare and of interest to any collector of historic opera memorabilia!

French-born Swiss composer (1892-1955), and member of Les Six.  Autograph letter written in French (sold untranslated), signed and dated by him in Genoa, 1948, to the Argentine music director Cirilo Grassi-Diaz.  Size is 5.1 x 9.5 inches, 1 page, minor stains over the upper-right corner, otherwise in excellent condition.
