Je l’ai priée de venir vous raconter une historiette fâcheuse qui m’est arrivée. Et je vous suis très reconnaissant si vous pouvez m’éclairer des démarches à faire!…”. Large handwritten musical sheet with a short piece for piano by composer Moritz Peuschel (1838-1892) where Johannes Brahms wrote "The old aunt!" twice and added a short sentiment with his signature, dated in Vienna, 1885.  On verso there are some extra music notes and a wax-sealed attached card.  Large Size: 12.8 x 5.1 inches (trimmed from a larger format), minor stains, in very good condition.

In superb condition on both sides, probably the best Brahms signed autograph we have seen!. Autograph photos of Brahms are rare.

British virtuoso horn player (1921-1957), largely credited for popularizing the instrument as a solo classical instrument. After leaving several legendary recordings, Brain died in a car accident at age 36. Signature on an autograph album page, matted with a photograph of him and his horn, a modern print. Total mat size is 11.75 x 14.2 inches, signature is 3.6 x 2.2 inches (lower window opening size), top photo is 5.7 x 3.8 inches (upper window opening size). All in excellent condition. Quite rare!

British virtuoso horn player (1921-1957), largely credited for popularizing the horn as a solo classical instrument with postwar British public.  Signed photo shown with his instrument; stamped on verso by photographer Derek Allen, London.  Size is 3.25 x 5.4 inches, in very good condition.  Rare!!

Autograph letter signed, dated in Milan in 1866. 2 pages of a folded 4-page document, written in Italian, sold untranslated. Size of each page is 5.25 x 8.25 inches, total unfolded size is 8.5 x 10.25 inches, small tear on the left side of the front page, but otherwise in very good condition. 

British actor and filmmaker (b.1960). English actress (1963-2009). Beautiful black-and-white movie-still photograph from the film "A Month in the Country" (1987) signed by both artists. Size is 10 x 7.9 inches, in excellent condition.

American coloratura soprano (1910-1994), had an active performance career in operas, operettas, and concerts on the American stage and on American radio from the mid-1930s into the 1950s. She created the role of Madame Boticini in the original Broadway production of Fritz Kreisler's Rhapsody in 1944. Signed photograph, shown as herself, inscribed. Stamped on verso by photographer Renato Toppo, New York. Size is 7.75 x 9.75 inches, in very good condition.
