Nice imperial sepia cabinet photograph signed by him and dated July 30, 1899, at Montecatini, shown during a social meeting; original photo by Pietro Tempestini (Spezia, Italy). From left to right: Giuseppina Pasqua, doctor Pietro Grocco, Teresa Stolz, Giuseppe Verdi, Leopoldo Mugnone and his mistress. Standing: Verdi´s secretary and Astore Giacomelli.  Size is 9.75 x 6.8 inches, in excellent condition.

Italian composer (1813-1901) best known for his operas, who came to dominate the Italian opera scene in the second half of the XIX century, and his works remain extremely popular until today. Fantastic original vintage large cabinet photo of the composer by photographer Achille Ferrario (Milan) signed and inscribed by Verdi in September 1898. Size is 6.75 x 8.75 inches, trimmed at the top and bottom, otherwise in excellent condition.

Photo is signed and inscribed to French soprano Blanche Marchesi (1863-1940), daughter of the famous mezzo-soprano and singing teacher Mathilde Marchesi (1821-1913).  Size is 4.25 x 6.5 inches, the front is in very fine condition with some wear on corners, verso shows rust and mounting traces. Spanish Catalan composer (1871-1932) whose best-known work is his zarzuela "Doña Francisquita". Large signed photo, inscribed to a record store in Buenos Aires, Argentina, dated in that city in 1924. Photo is blind-stamped by photographer Bixio, Buenos Aires, who also signed at the top right. Vives inscribed and signed this large item on the mat, below the photo, total size is  12.5 x 16.25 inches, in excellent condition. Contrast in the actual item is better than in the scan. See detail. Spanish Catalan composer (1871-1932) whose best-known work is his zarzuela Doña Francisquita. Black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment plus a short 4-bar music quote from his zarzuela Maruxa, dated in Madrid, 1923; mounted on an album page.  Total size is 9.5 x 12.6 inches, actual photo is 6.75 x 10.75 inches. On verso there is a photograph signed by a certain Sanchez del Pino.

Greek composer (b.1939). Nice black-and-white half-tone photograph (from a program or magazine) signed by him, shown young. Size is 7 x 9.4 inches, left border irregularly cut, otherwise in excellent condition.

Austrian catholic priest (1863-1914) who worked as composer, organist, and conductor. Fine black-and-white photo postcard signed by him with a short music quote over the upper-left border. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, minor stains, in very good condition.

Danish composer (1883-1946), a supporter of the twelve-tone technique who wrote 9 symphonies, 3 string quartets and several operas. Signature matted with a photo, total size is 8.25 x 11.75, signature is 4 x 2.75 inches (dated 1927), photo is 2.5 x 3 inches
