Argentine tenor (b.1962) and Bulgarian soprano (b.1962). Fantastic color photograph signed by both artists, shown in Puccini's opera "Le Villi" at the Vienna State Opera in 2005. Size is 8 x 10.5 inches, in excellent condition.

American soprano (1879-1962), signed photgraph, shown in role in Wagner's Gotterdammerung, dated in 1922. Inscribed. Bold handwriting and signature. Printed signature on front of photographer Mishkin, New York. Size is 6 x 8 inches, slight paper loss on edges, otherwise in excellent condition.

Portuguese baritone (1856-1921), who sang leading roles in opera houses throughout Europe. Signed photo postcard, shown as Hans Heilling, dated in 1910. Size is 3.4 x 5.25 inches, some silvering, otherwise in very good condition.

Italian soprano (1871-1959) whose real name was Maria Clotilde Gigli. Signed vintage cabinet photograph, shown as herself. Photo by Rembrandt photo studio. This is a 5 x 7.25 inch photo mounted on a cabinet, total item size is 5.25 x 8.25 inches. Small creases on bottom edges of the cabinet not affecting the photo or signatures itself, which are in excellent condition.

Italian soprano (1871-1959) whose real name was Maria Clotilde Gigli. Signed photograph, shown as herself, inscribed. This is a 6.5 x 10.25 inch photo mounted on soft cardboard, total item size is 8.25 x 13 inches. Small creases on edges of the cardboard not affecting the photo or signatures itself, which are in excellent condition.

French tenor (1871-1939). Signed photograph, shown as himself, inscribed and dated in 1911. Blind stamped on front by photographer Mishkin, New York. Size is 5 x 8 inches, small tear on top left and slight paper loss on bottom right, otherwise in very good condition. 

Prominent Italian baritone (1882-1963). An original black-and-white photograph by Mishkin (New York) featuring Danise as Guglielmo Tell in Rossini's opera, signed by the baritone in New York in 1923. Size is 8 x 9.8 inches, loss of paper over the lower-left corner, stains, in overall good condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a clip from a program for a performance of Rossini's Guglielmo Tell at The Metropolitan Opera in 1931, starring Giuseppe Danise, Giacomo Lauri-Volpi, Ezio Pinza, and conductor Tullio Serafin.

Celebrated Romanian soprano (1860-1939), and creator of the titles roles in Puccini's "Tosca", Mascagni's "Iris", and Catalani's "La Wally". Beautiful sepia photo postcard signed by her and dated 1903, at the bottom, shown as Tosca in Puccini's opera. There is also a facsimile (printed) vertical signature next to her image, with the words "Floria Tosca". Size is 3.5 x 5.4 inches, very small loss of paper over the right border, not affecting the signature, in excellent condition.

French operetta singer (1912-1987). Fine black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment in French; photo by Studio Harcourt (Paris). Size is 7.25 x 10.2 inches, some imperfections along the borders, in overall very good condition.

Welsh tenor (1858-1943), signed photo postcard, shown as himself. Photo by Breitkopf and Hartel, London. Size 3.25 x 5.5 inches, in excellent condition. 

Italian bass (1881-1962) particularly associated with Verdi, Rossini, and Wagner roles. Beautiful black-and-white photo postcard signed by him in Buenos Aires, 1911. Size is 3.6 x 5.6 inches, minor damage in all borders, otherwise in very good condition.

Mexican baritone (1870-1918), recognized for singing in various stages across Europe and South America, and later debuted at the Met Opera as Enrico in Lucia di Lammermoor.  He is also known as Gustavo Berl-Resky. Fine cabinet photograph shown as himself, signed and inscribed by him, dated in Milan, 1909. Photo by Giulio Rossi, Milan. Size is 4.25 x 6.5 inches, in very good condition. Rare!

American mezzo-soprano/contralto and voice teacher (1878-1934). Signed photograph, shown as herself, inscribed. Bold handwriting and signature. This is a 7 x 9.25 inch photograph mounted onto soft cardboard. Total item size is 9.5 x 13.25 inches, small tear at very top left of the cardboard (not the photograph itself), otherwise in excellent condition. 

American mezzo-soprano/contralto and voice teacher (1878-1934). Signed photograph, shown in role, inscribed. Bold handwriting and signature. Printed signature on front of photographer Mishkin, New York.  Size is 4.5 x 8.75 inches, small paper loss at very top left of the photo (not affecting image and signature), otherwise in excellent condition. 

American baritone of Spanish parentage (1872-1949), who left many great recordings and became an important teacher later in life. Beautiful signed photo portrait, inscribed and dated in New York in 1941. Size is 8 x 10 inches, attached to a solid cardboard backing with slight crease to the right of the image and on bottom of photo but otherwise in excellent condition.

American baritone (1872-1949) of Spanish parentage. Beautiful sepia photograph of the baritone signed and inscribed by him with a long sentiment, dated 1927; ink-stamped on verso by photographer G. Maillard Kesslere. Size is 7.8 x 10 inches, small loss of paper in all four corners, mounting traces on verso, in excellent condition.

American baritone and teacher (1874-1949), raised in Spain. He developed an important career mostly as a recital singer and left a good amount of recordings. Uncut signed record label, for one of his recordings, matted with a nice photo, shown as himself. Sizes are 13.5 x 9.75 inches (total mat size), 3.5 x 3.75 inches (signed label) and 3.75 x 5 inches (photo). Double acid-free mat, all in excellent condition.

Signed photograph shown as herself, young, inscribed and dated in 1952. Bold handwriting and signature in attractive blue ink. Gorgeous sepia photograph signed and inscribed by him in Italian and dated in New York, 1929, shown as himself. Size is 7.75 x 9.7 inches, minor damage over the left border, otherwise in very good condition.

American soprano/mezzo-soprano (1861-1949). Signed photograph, shown as herself, inscribed and dated in 1927. This is a 6 x 8.5 inch photo mounted onto soft cardboard, the handwriting and signature traverses both the photo and part of the cardboard beneath, total item size is 7.5 x 11 inches, attractive vintage item, in excellent condition.

Signed postcard photograph, shown as himself, inscribed in Buenos Aires, dated in 1915. This 4 x 5.75 inch photo is mounted onto solid cardboard, total item size is 6.25 x 8.5 inches. Photo is by Francesco Reale, Rome (his printed signature is at the bottom of the cardboard). Beautiful vintage item in excellent condition.

American soprano (1880-1925), whose real name was Bernice James, married to Italian tenor Pietro de Pasquali, who managed an opera troupe, with her as the principal soprano. Fine photograph shown as herself boldly signed with a text. Photograph is stamped on verso by photographer Mishkin, New York. Size is 6 x 9.25 inches, a small piece is missing on the top left and right corners, otherwise in excellent condition.

Spanish bass (1874-1953) whose career developed mostly at the Metropolitan Opera between 1901 and 1920. Vintage cabinet photograph of the bass by F. Leblanc (Valparaiso) signed by De Segurola with a long sentiment dated 1899. Size is 5.25 x 8.3 inches, minor damage over the lower-left corner, some stains, in overall very good condition.

Spanish bass (1874-1953) whose career developed mostly at the Metropolitan Opera between 1901 and 1920. Signed photograph, inscribed and dated in 1948. Stamped on verso by photographer Norma Lloyd, Bruno Studios, Hollywood. Size is 8 x 10 inches, small crease on top left and mounting traces on verso, otherwise in very good condition.

Chilean soprano (1884-1964) who enjoyed an important international career during the first half of the XX Century.  Signed photograph shown in role, mounted on a mat by photographer Nicolas, Rio de Janeiro.  Total size is 9.25 x 13 inches, actual photo is 6.5 x 8.6 inches, photo is in excellent condition, mat has spotted rust.

Italian baritone (1875-1935). Fine black-and-white photograph signed by him and inscribed to the Italian tenor Amadeo Bassi with a short sentiment dated in Milan, 1919, mounted on a mat.  Total size is 7.75 x 13.1 inches, jagged edges, in very good condition.

Inscribed by both singers, dated in 1945. Blind stamped on front by photographer Montacchini, Parma. Size is 7 x 9.25 inches, in excellent condition.

Size is 4.25 x 6.5 inches, with very small bullet holes on several corners of the cabinet not affecting image and signature. Otherwise in very good condition.

French baritone (1861-1933), well known for creating various roles in French operas as Athanaël in Thaïs. Signed photo postcard, shown as Iago in Otello. Size is 3.25 x 5.25 inches, in excellent condition.
