Nice black-and-white photograph of him by Varischi, Artico & Co (Milan) mounted on hard cardboard, signed and inscribed by the composer with a short sentiment dated December 1902. Fine black-and-white photograph signed by him with a short sentiment dated 1933 and a beautiful music quote from the New England Symphony. Size is 8 x 10 inches, small damages in all four corners, mounting traces on verso, in overall very good condition.

American composer (1927-2019) known for his lyric operatic and choral music. Nice black-and-white photograph signed by him, shown contemplating the view of the city of Florence (Italy). Size is 7 x 5 inches, in excellent condition.

American composer (b.1937) of music for films, stage, and TV.  Fantastic black-and-white photograph signed by him in black ink with a short sentiment, adding a short music quote from his awarded theme song "It Goes as It Goes" for the film Norma Rae (1979) in blue ink.  Size is 8 x 10 inches, in excellent condition.

Beautiful cabinet photograph of the poet by Hanns Hanfstaengl (Berlin) signed and inscribed by Schlippenbach with a short sentiment on verso dated 1884. Austrian composer (1858-1936) and Director of the Wiener Schubertbund Choir from 1891 to 1916. Fine black-and-white photo postcard with his image and signed by him with a 3-bar music quote including its lyrics, dated 1906.  Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, ink writing on verso, otherwise in excellent condition.

German bass-baritone, signed postcard photograph, shown as the Wanderer in Wagner's Siegfried, signed on front with inscription on verso, dated in 1917. Size is 3.25 x 5.25 inches, in very good condition.

Hungarian bass-baritone (1905-1972), signed photograph, shown as Wotan in Wagner's Ring Cycle, dated in Budapest in 1941. Size is 4 x 5.5 inches, small creases on bottom left and right, otherwise in very good condition. 

The Kirov Theatre was the name by which the Mariinsky Theatre at Saint Peterburg was known through most of the Soviet era. Program for the 1989 American tour of the Kirov Ballet signed by 18 of its members who signed in different pages of the booklet. Size is 9.8 x 13 inches, 48 pages plus soft covers, in very good condition.

Argentine ballet dancer (1928-2012), Argentine prima ballerina (1930-1971), Argentine ballet dancer (1929-1971). Program for a gala performance of Adam's ballet "Giselle" at Teatro Colon, Buenos Aires, 1967, to commemorate a National holiday (May 25), signed by the three dancers and dancer Gustavo Mojajoli, on their photo page. Size is 9.25 x 12.5 inches, full program with all pages and hardcovers, some wear on covers, otherwise in excellent condition.

Italian baritone (1842-1915), creator of the role of Barnaba in the world premiere of Ponchielli's La Gioconda (1876). Set of 2 autograph letters in Italian signed by him, as follows: A. Trieste, 1896, Size is 6.75 x 8.3 inches, 2 written pages (front and back), folds, stains, in very good condition. B. Brescia, 1883. Size is 4.8 x 7.75 inches, 3 written pages in one folded sheet, minor stains, in excellent condition. SOLD TOGETHER, NOT SOLD SEPARATELY.

Swiss businessman and violin collector (1810-?). Autograph letter in Italian signed by him, dated October 23, 1876, to violinist Emanuele Rovelli (1836-1912), son of the composer Pietro (1793-1838), sending back a violin and a guitar, which he bought from him. Size is 8.3 x 10.4 inches, 1 page, folds, signs of pressure, missing paper at the bottom, in overall fair condition.

American music critic (1874-1935) at The New York Press and foreign music correspondent for The New York Herald Tribune. Autograph letter in English signed by him and dated December 4, 1924, to maestro Arturo Toscanini: “…We are glad, though, that our good Ugo Ara [1876-1936, musician] can be the bearer of our messages (…) The announcement that you would probably be here to conduct the Philharmonic as “guest” in some concerts set the musical world at…”.  Right after, there is a short text of greetings from Mary Hardy, wife to Max Smith. Size is 5.3 x 6.7 inches each page, 4 written pages in one folded sheet, with letterhead of Hotel Astor New York, folds, in very good condition.
