British pianist (1890-1965), who became a prime favorite in the United States, not only as a soloist but also as a fine ensemble player. Autograph note in English signed by her. Size is 5.5 x 7 inches, in very good condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a card signed by her (5 x 3 inches) plus an unsigned promo photograph of her (7.9 x 10.1 inches).

Polish pianist (1922-2001), known as an excellent interpreter of Chopin's piano works. Nice black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by her with a legend on verso "being condecorated". Size is 7.1 x 4.6 inches, in excellent condition.

Austrian-American pianist (1882-1951), and English pianist (1873-1951). Album page signed by the pianists (Schnabel on the front, Bauer and his wife on the verso). Size is 6 x 4.5 inches, in very good condition.

Polish harpsichordist (1879-1959) and pianist, whose performances and recordings greatly helped revive harpsichord music during the 20th century, and became the first to record Bach's Goldberg Variations on the harpsichord in 1931. Typed letter in French (sold untranslated) signed by her and dated in 1931. Size is 8.2 x 10.5 inches, 1 page, in very good condition. French-born German pianist (1895-1956), renowned for his subtle touch, pedaling, and dynamic control -particularly in the music of Debussy and Ravel. Autograph letter in English signed by him and dated 1950. Size is 5.3 x 7 inches, three written pages in one folded folio, creases, folds, in overall very good condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a Diploma by Universidad de Tucuman signed by him, mounted on a mat (total size is 10 x 7.9 inches), plus two unsigned typed letters addressed to him. Canadian pianist (1932-1982), one of the most famous and celebrated pianists of the 20th century, and was a renowned interpreter of the keyboard works of J.S. Bach. 2-bar autograph music quote signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment dated 1980 made on the back of the last page of a partial transcription of an interview for a radio program in October 1980 at CBC.  Size is 8.5 x 11 inches, 1 page, in excellent condition.

French pianist (1905-1999), known for her lyrical and elegant interpretations of the solo works of Chopin and Liszt, and the piano concertos by Saint-Saens. Short autograph note in English signed by her in 1974, thanking a fan. Size is 7.25 x 10.5 inches, 1 page, in excellent condition.

Italian classical pianist (1920-1995), considered one of the greatest pianists of the twentieth century, in 1964  founded the International Piano Festival of Brescia and Bergamo. Printed contract in French with an impresario, stipulating payments and performances at Salle Pleyel in Paris, 1967, signed by him over the lower-left side of the document. Size is 8.1 x 10.5 inches, 1 page, some handwritten corrections, otherwise in excellent condition.

Swiss pianist (1886-1960) and conductor, regarded as one of the greatest interpreters of J.S. Bach and Mozart in the twentieth century. American bass and voice teacher (b. 1934) who had an active performance career in the United States during the second half of the 20th century, known for both operatic and oratorio work.  Signed photograph, shown as himself, inscribed and dated in 1962. French actor (1913-1998), writer, director, and sculptor; who performed in over 100 films and was the muse of acclaimed director Jean Cocteau. Black-and-white promo photo postcard signed by him. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, in excellent condition.
