Austrian soprano (1841-1908); and Moravian composer (1821-1897), conductor, and impresario. An album page signed by both artists: Maretzek dated her signature in Baltimore, on April 2, 1873; while Lucca did not date her signature. There is a third signature (unidentified) dated in Baltimore in 1873 as well. Size is 4.75 x 7.6 inches, in excellent condition.

English bass (1784-1863), conductor, and critic. His signature cut (probably from a receipt or contract) mounted on an album page. Total size is 7.25 x 5.1 inches, tape residues over the left border, otherwise in very good condition.

Star Italian coloratura soprano (1871-1940) of great international fame. An album page signed and dated by her in 1934 as a souvenir for her farewell tour in London. Size is 6.9 x5.25 inches, in excellent condition.

Italian soprano (1834-1899), who created the role of Violetta Valery in the London premiere of Verdi's La Traviata in 1856. Signature cut dated by her in Liverpool 1858, mounted on a piece of soft cardboard. Total size is 5.25 x 1.6 inches, in excellent condition. Rare!

Famous English soprano (1888-1976). Nice card signed and dated by her in 1943 with a short music quote. Size is 3.6 x 2.3 inches, in excellent condition.

German bass (1815-1889), whose important career focused on opera and oratorio. Set of 2 short notes in German on album pages signed by him (one of them also signed by his wife) adding a music quote in one of them. Size is 7 x 8.8 inches each, 1 page each, irregular borders, both in excellent condition. SOLD TOGETHER, NOT SOLD SEPARATELY.  

French actress (1743-1804), known as "Madame Vestris" Autograph letter in French (sold with transcription) signed by her, dated 1792. Size is 4 x 5.8 inches, 2 written pages in one sheet, folds, in excellent condition.

Scottish soprano (1836-1874), with an outstanding international career, cofounder of the Parepa-Rosa Opera company. Album page signed by her with a short music quote. Size is 5.3 x 7 inches, left border irregularly cut, otherwise in excellent condition. The album page was also signed on the front by the English contralto Charlotte Sainton (1824-1885), English pianist Wilhelm Ganz (1833-1914); on verso by Sofia Ercolani, German pianist Jacques Blumenthal (1829-1908), and two other unidentified artists.

Belgian soprano (1873-1934). Album page signed by her with a short sentiment in French, dated in Cleveland, February 12, 1897. Size is 6 x 7.7 inches, small loss of paper over the lower-right corner, otherwise in excellent condition.

American musical theater composer (1847-1924). Autograph letter with the letterhead of the Arch Street Opera House signed by him, dated in Philadelphia, October 19, 1883, about musical business. Size is 5.75 x 8.6 inches, 2 written pages in one sheet, repaired crack at the top, otherwise in very good condition.

French bass-baritone (1877-1962), particularly associated with the French and Italian repertories which included over 240 roles; also renowned as one of the most memorable singing actors of his time. Autograph letter in Italian (sold untranslated) signed by him with the hotel letterhead, dated in Venice, December 1912.  Size is 4.8 x 7 inches, 2 written pages in 1 sheet, storage holes over the top, otherwise in very good condition.

Australian soprano (1907-1979) mainly celebrated in the Wagnerian repertoire but whose career was cut short by polio. Autograph letter with her letterhead about personal matters signed by her and dated in Minneapolis, September 1941. Size is 5.5 x 8.5 inches, 3 written pages in 2 sheets, stapled pages, in very good condition.

American actor in theater and films, mostly known for his appearance in the 1932 film "Watch Beverly". Autograph note on an album page signed by him. Size is 7 x 7.8 inches, central fold, in excellent condition.

Italian artist (1926-2001), set designer, opera and film director, and book illustrator. Original handmade ink drawing titled "Great Circus" (probably for a children's book or play) signed by him over the lower-right corner, made on soft white cardboard. Size is 16.5 x 10.8 inches, no year indicated, mounting traces on verso, minor stains on the front lower-left corner, otherwise in excellent condition.

American politician (1890-1969) was the Assistant and then United States Secretary of the Navy, and also served as the 42nd Governor of New Jersey, commonly known as "Lord Edison", he was a son of the famous inventor Thomas Edison.  Signed photograph, inscribed, bold handwriting and signature. Size is 8 x 10 inches, some light silvering to dark portions and a few surface marks, otherwise in excellent condition. 

Belgian tenor (1877-1935), signed text quote on an 6 x 9.25 inch album page, dated in 1896. Unusual vintage item in very good condition.

British dancer (b.1927) and English ballet dancer (1917-1994) and principal dancer of The Royal Ballet. Double signed photo, shown in roles in Le Lac des Cygnes. Photo by John Vickers, Sadler's Wells Ballet, London. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, In very good condition.

Set of 5 large unsigned photographs depicting opera singers including 2 of Hans Hotter and one each of  Mario Del Monaco and Martha Modl, shown mostly in role, as well as one of conductor Herbert Von Karajan.  Size is 7 x 9.25 inches each, original photographs with printed signature on front and stamped on verso by photographer Fayer, Vienna. German stage and film actor (1857-1929), worked at Vienna's Burgtheatre for most of his career, becoming Chief Director in 1920, also appeared in several films. Original unsigned cabinet-style photograph of him by photographer Rudolf Krzinaek, Vienna. Size is 4.25 x 6.5 inches, spotted rust stains on the front, minor stains on verso, otherwise in excellent condition.  

English soprano (1858-1915). Attractive vintage unsigned cabinet-style photograph of the soprano, shown young.  Size is 4 x 5.75 inches, mounting traces on verso (paper loss) otherwise in very good condition.

Superstar Italian soprano (1922-2004), extremely famous for her large, voluminous voice and tonal beauty. She primarily focused on verismo roles and the lyric dramatic repertoire.   Beautiful signed 8 page brochure issued by the Decca recording label (for whom she recorded almost exclusively from the early 1950s to the end of her career) containing many photos of her mostly in role many taken from the cover of her complete recordings.  Her signature is on the cover page, dated in 1992 on a photo by Fayer, Vienna, shown as herself. Size of each page is 8.25 x 11 inches, in excellent condition. 

Danish soprano (1919-2006) whose full name was Elly Ruth Guldbæk Degerbøl. Signed photograph, shown as herself, dated in 1951. Stamped on verso by photographer H.J. Mydtskov, Copenhagen. Size is 4.5 x 7, small creases and bends, otherwise in very good condition.

French bass, signed photograph, shown in role (likely Mephistopheles in Gounod's Faust), inscribed. Bold handwriting in attractive silver ink. Size is 4.75 x 7 inches, in very good condition.
