Nice vintage program for a performance of Gounod's opera Romeo et Juliette at The Auditorium, Chicago, on March 13, 1895, featuring Nellie Melba, Jean De Reszke, Edouard De Reszke, Pol Plancon, and others. Size is 4.6 x 6.75 inches, full 4-page program, in excellent condition.

German baritone (1892-1956). Fine sepia half-tone photograph signed by him in 1931 in Buenos Aires, shown in role, mounted on a card. Size is 3.2 x 5.8 inches, in excellent condition.

Scottish tenor. Black-and-white photograph signed by him, shown in role; blind-stamped on the front by photographer W. Nicol (Glasgow). Size is 3.9 x 5.75 inches, big crease over the lower-left border, in very good condition.

Prussian tenor (1908-1980). Fine photograph signed by him with a short sentiment dated 1968, shown as Ferrando in Mozart's Cosí fan tutte. Size is 3.75 x 5.4 inches, in excellent condition.

Italian journalist. Famous pamphlet released with a long article about the world premiere of Puccini's Tosca heavily criticizing it signed by its author on the first page. Size is 5.8 x 8.25 inches, 32 pages, soft covers, in very good condition.

Canadian baritone (b.1960).  Nice color photograph signed by him in San Francisco, 2008, shown as Robert Oppenheimer, the title role of John Adam's Doctor Atomic. Size is 11.75 x 7.9 inches, in excellent condition.  

French ballet dancer (?-1986). Black-and-white photo postcard signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment dated in Rio de Janeiro, 1926. Size is 3.25 x 5.25 inches, in overall very good condition.

Ukrainian-American bass (1941-2025), French tenor (b.1963). Nice black-and-white photograph signed by both artists shown in a production of L'Elisir d'Amore at The Metropolitan Opera. Size is 8 x 9.9 inches, in excellent condition.

German violinist (1847-1901) and teacher, associated with Richard Strauss and Richard Wagner. Autograph  note in German (untranslated) signed by him in 1900 on a card. Size is 5.5 x 3.5 inches, in very good condition.

A Chorus Line is a 1975 musical conceived by Michael Bennett with music by Marvin Hamlisch, lyrics by Edward Kleban. Program for the performance of the musical in April 1987 at the Shubert Theatre, New York, signed by 24 performers members of the cast on the front cover. Size is 5.5 x 8.5 inches, full program with all pages and covers, in excellent condition.

Celebrated English baritone (b.1944) known for a wide range of Mozartian, French, Italian, German and Russian lyric baritone repertoire, active since the late 1960s. Group of 2 signed photographs, including 1 as himself, size is 3.5 x 5.25 inches, the other in the title role of Britten's Billy Budd, a photo by Winnie Klotz, Metropolitan Opera, New York, 5 x7 inches. Both in excellent condition, not sold separately. 

German tenor (1908-1959), signed postcard photograph, shown in the title role of Verdi's Otello, dated in 1957. Stamped on verso by photographer Sabine Toepffer, Munich. Size is 4 x 5.75 inches, in very good condition.

English pianist (1872-1951). Black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment dated in New York, 1909, mounted on a larger soft cardboard. Total size is 6.5 x 9.5 inches, actual photo is 4.3 x 5.8 inches, some silvering over the photo, in overall very good condition.

American composer and music critic (1885-1966), famous for some of his operas that were popular in the 1930s and 1940s. Nice black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by him with a short 2-bar music quote from one of his operas. Size is 7.75 x 9.9 inches, minor crease over the top-right corner and right border, otherwise in very good condition.

Austrian conductor (1856-1911) specialist in Wagner's music who assisted Richter in preparing the first run of the complete Ring cycle in the first Bayreuth Festival in 1876. Black-and-white photo postcard signed by him. Size is 3.5 x 5.4 inches, postal markings on verso, in very good condition.

German mezzo-soprano (1928-2021) and American tenor (1925-2005). Beautiful black-and-white photograph signed by both artists, shown in a scene from Beethoven's opera Fidelio. Size is 5.1 x 6.75 inches, in excellent condition.

Hungarian-American conductor and violinist (1899-1985), appointed conductor of the Minneapolis Symphony Orch. and The Philadelphia Orchestra for 44 years. 2-bar autograph music quote from Beethoven's Symphony 5 signed and inscribed by the conductor. Size is 6.4 x 3 inches, in excellent condition. ALSO INCLUDED is an unsigned photograph of him conducting the Philadelphia Orchestra (not shown).

English tenor (1940-2010). Black-and-white photograph signed by him, shown as Peter Grimes in Benjamin Britten's opera. Size is 7.8 x 9.9 inches, in excellent condition.

Italian tenor (1924-2014), one of the greatest singers of the 20th century and widely known for his Verdi and Puccini roles. Short text quote from Donizetti's opera L'Elisir d'Amore written and signed by the tenor on a piece of paper. Size is 7.2 x 10.4 inches, in excellent condition.

American pianist (b.1928), teacher, and administrator. Fine black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment dated 1966, shown in rehearsal. Size is 8 x 9.9 inches, in excellent condition.

Venezuelan pianist (1853-1917) who became an internationally renowned virtuoso pianist and was often referred to as the Valkyrie of the Piano. Album page signed by her with a short sentiment in April 1917.  Size is 4.75 x 6.4 inches, loss of paper on corners, otherwise in very good condition.

Dutch-American pianist (1881-1962) who had a superb technique and a powerful sonority and was a superlative exponent of the larger works of Beethoven, Liszt, and Brahms.  Autograph note in English on a card signed by him wishing happy holidays. Size is 3.2 x 2.6 inches, in excellent condition.
