Austrian composer (1876-1938), who was also violinist, music director, and for some time conductor of his own orchestra on tour. Large beautiful photograph signed by him with a short music quote below from his piece "Wilde Rosen", inscribed and dated on Christmas 1925. Photo is also signed in pencil by photographer Willinger, Vienna.  Size is 9.5 x 12.75 inches, minor crease over the top right and a few indents, otherwise in excellent condition.

French composer (1850-1938), organist, and teacher, whose most successful works were his opera Miarka and the song cycle Chansons de Miarka. Nice black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by him in French in April 1909, mounted on a photographer mat by Raoul Autin. Total size is 8.8 x 12.25 inches, photo is 6.25 x 8.4 inches, in very good condition.

English composer (1862-1936) of Welsh descent, considered successor of Sullivan. Fine photo postcard signed by him, shown young. Size is 3.4 x 5.5 inches, in excellent condition.

American composer and pianist (1898-1937), considered one of the top American composers in the 20th century for both Broadway music and the Classical concert hall.  Wonderful brownish-sepia signed photo, inscribed, with a short sentiment. Bold black in signature, one of the clearest ones we have seen. Photo is blind-stamped on the front and ink stamped on verso by photographer Nicholas Haz, New York.  Size is 7.4 x 9.4 inches, some scattered, dot-shaped loss of photographic surface, probably trimmed from a larger original size, in overall very good condition. Italian composer (1892-1965), creator of orchestral and piano pieces, operas, and film scores. Fine photo postcard signed and inscribed by him, dated in 1942. Size is 3.3 x 5.4 inches, in excellent condition.

American composer (1903-1966), who created operas, songs, symphonies and band works. Signed photo, inscribed. Size is 4.5 x 6.8 inches. Stamped on verso by photographer T. Santacroce, Rome, minor damage on corners, otherwise in very good condition.

Argentine composer (1916-1983), regarded as one of the most important composers of the Americas in the XX century.  Beautiful black and white photograph signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment, dated in 1953.  Size 4.7 x 7 inches, in very good condition.

Italian verismo opera composer (1867-1948), famous for composing Andrea Chenier and Fedora, his two most famous operas. Stunning photograph whose mat is signed by the great composer and dated by him in Rome, 1946. Photo is also signed by photographer F. Reale, Rome.  Total size is 9.75 x 13 inches, photograph is 6.75 x 9 inches, in excellent condition. Larger-sized autographs by Giordano are quite rare!

Italian verismo opera composer (1867-1948), famous for composing Andrea Chenier and Fedora, his two most famous operas. Fantastic black-and-white photo postcard signed and inscribed with a short sentiment mentioning his opera "Fedora", dated in Rome, 1932.  Size is 3.2 x 5.2 inches, some silvering around borders, unidentified blind stamp on the front, in excellent condition.

Italian composer and pianist (1895-1938), who migrated to the US and was a member of the famous Elshuco Trio. Giorni was also an accomplished piano concertist and educator. His career ended short when he committed suicide at age 43. Large size photo mounted on mat (11.5 x 15.75 inches total size), shown young, by the photographer W.C. Noetzel (who also signed, in pencil), inscribed and dated in 1915. Giorni adds 3 bars from his Fantasia op. 21.  ALSO INCLUDED is a short autograph music quote by this artist, with 3 bars from an Andante for String Quartet, plus a program for a memorial concert held after his death, in 1938. Music quote is 6.25 x 7 inches, program is 4 pages, 5.5 x 8 inches, all in excellent condition.

Italian composer (1899-1998) and pianist, creator of piano, orchestral, and vocal music. Black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed on verso by her with a short sentiment, dated in Torino, 1954; ink-stamped by Light Photofilm, Torino (additional four-line text written below by a third person).  Size is 6.9 x 9.2 inches, jagged edges, crease over the lower-right border, in very good condition.

American composer (b.1937), considered one of the most influential music makers of the 20th century; creator of several important operas and film soundtracks. Fine black and white photograph signed by him, with his face a bit blurry as a photographic effect by photographer. Size is 5 x 7.4 inches, in excellent condition.

Russian composer (1865-1936), conductor, and music teacher who had a big impact on Russian music and composers of his time, both as a pedagogue and composer. Beautiful black-and-white photograph of him mounted on a photographer mat where he signed adding a 5-bar music quote from a piece, dated 1913. Original mat by photographer G.A. Fischer (St. Petersbourg). Total size is 8.75 x 11.75 inches, some stains, some damage over the borders, few repaired cracks, in overall very good condition.

Gorgeous cabinet-style photograph signed by him, shown very young, inscribed in French and dated in 1886 (when he was just 21 years old). A photograph by A. Lorens, St. Petersburg, Russia, size is 4.25 x 6.75 inches, minor toning especially on verso, otherwise in excellent condition.

Lithuanian-born American pianist (1870-1938), composer, and teacher. Large black-and-white print signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment dated in San Diego, 1916. Size is 7.75 x 11.8 inches, repaired crack over the upper-right corner, some other cracks, loss of paper on all four corners, otherwise in good condition. PRICED ACCORDINGLY.

Croatian composer (1895-1982) and conductor. Black-and-white photograph signed by him. Size is 3.5 x 4.7 inches, in excellent condition.

French composer (1818-1893), who achieved an international reputation for his operas "Faust" and "Romeo et Juliette".  Sepia cabinet photograph of Gounod by photographer Charles (Bordeaux) signed by the composer, mounted on soft white paper.  Size is 5.2 x 8.6 inches, gilded edges, minor crack over the upper-left corner, otherwise in excellent condition.

German composer and conductor (1872-1944), was also a teacher and music director - and linked to the Nazi party in his time. His music can be linked to Richard Strauss and Max Reger. Signed photo postcard, inscribed, 3.5 x 5.5 inches, silvering around borders - otherwise in very good condition

American composer (1856-1915), whose most famous piece is the song "Sing me to Sleep". Black-and-white photo postcard signed by him. Size is 3.5 x 5.3 inches, extensive damage by mounting traces on verso, minor creases on the front, otherwise in good condition. Very rare item!

Russian composer (1864-1956) and pianist. His autobiography book, entitled "My Life", in Russian, published in 1951.  The composer signed and inscribed this book, with a short sentiment, on a blank page behind his picture (which has a facsimile or printed signature below), at the beginning of this book. Size is 5.4 x 8.4 inches, 317 numbered pages, library stamps, soft covers that are partially loose, in very good condition.

Nice original sepia photograph of the conductor by photographer Mishkin (New York) signed and inscribed by Hageman with a short sentiment. Size is 5.9 x 7.9 inches, some damage over the lower-right corner, some loss of paper over the top-left corner, otherwise in very good condition.

Dutch-born American conductor (1881-1966), composer, and pianist. Nice black-and-white half-tone photograph (a full page from a program or magazine) signed by him.  Size is 7.6 x 10.7 inches, in excellent condition.

Spanish composer (1930-2021), regarded as the most important Spanish composer of the generation designated the "Generación del 51". Set of half-tone photographs attached to two cards signed by him. Size is 4.1 x 5.8 inches each, in excellent condition.

Spanish composer and conductor (1905-1989), set of 1 signed photograph with brief musical quote and another signed caricature of him, inscribed, both items dated in Buenos Aires in 1932. Each is sized 3.25 x 5.75 inches and are in excellent condition. Not sold separately.
