Guernsey-born American composer (1859-1924), cellist and conductor, best known for his operettas from 1890 through the end of World War I.  Large signed photo, and original print by White, New York, inscribed and dated by him in 1920, with 2 bars of music from his opera "Natoma", one of his only 2 grand operas. Natoma was premiered in 1911 with a cast including Mary Garden and John McCormack. Size is 9.8 x 11.9 inches, small loss of paper on two corners, and a larger loss of paper over the bottom left corner that has been repaired with similar-color paper. See scan.

Irish-born American composer and conductor (1859-1924). Herbert is best known for composing many successful operettas that premiered on Broadway from the 1890s to World War I.  Large photo shown at the piano, inscribed (including 2 bars of music) and signed by him in 1918.  Size is 11.8 x 9.75 inches, in excellent condition.

American composer (1926-2011), who was also a classical pianist and disciple of composer Gian Carlo Menotti, mostly known for his piece Summer and Smoke. Signed photo and autograph letter signed, dated in 1964. Photo is 8 x 10 inches and autograph letter is 8.4 x 11 inches, both in excellent condition.

Brochure promoting the recording of his works released by Broadcast Music Inc. (BMI) in 1972, signed by him on the front cover with a music quote with 7 bars of music over the left border.  Size is 3.9 x 9 inches, 20 pages including covers, in excellent condition.

Swiss composer (1852-1921), creator of five operas, eight symphonies, and other works. Nice cabinet photograph of him by photographer C. Ruf (Basel) signed by the composer with a 3-bar music quote plus a short text. Size is 4.1 x 5.7 inches (trimmed at the bottom), ink markings on verso, minor damage over the upper-left border, otherwise in very good condition.

French composer (1858-1948), his career focused mostly on vocal music and opera (and created 7 of them), plus some orchestral works. Large signed photo, inscribed and dated in 1932, also signed in pencil by the photographer (illegible name). Photo is 8.75 x 11.25 inches, mounted on a mat that is 10.25 x 13.25 inches, in excellent condition.

Czech-born classical composer and conductor (1921-2016), winner of the 1969 Pulitzer Prize for Music. Signed publicity photograph of him, inscribed and dated in 1973 with a brief musical quotation. Size is 8 x 10 inches, very small creases on various edges, otherwise in excellent condition.

German composer (1910-1991), and balalaika player (a Russian musical instrument). Fine black-and-white photo postcard signed by him with a short sentiment dated 1936. Size is 3.6 x 5.5 inches, in excellent condition.

Russian composer (1859-1935), conductor and teacher whose music went from late-Romantic to modern-20th Century style.  Rare, larger size signed photo, shown working on a score, inscribed and dated in 1933. Size is 11.3 x 8.7 inches, irregularly cut top border, with some loss of paper over the top right corner, minor cracks and creases, but in overall good condition, will look great if matted and/or framed. 

German composer (1869-1916), who was also organist and choir director. Large cabinet-style photograph by Atelier Victoria, signed on both sides by the composer. Size is 5.25 x 8.5 inches, in very condition.

Swiss composer (1865-1950), musician, and music educator who developed Dalcroze Eurhythmics, an approach to learning and experiencing music through movement. Black-and-white photo postcard signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment in French. Size is 3.5 x 5.3 inches, some silvering, jagged edges; blind-stamped over the lower-right border by photographer M. Andreossi (Geneve), in excellent condition.

Set of two hand-colorized vintage lithographs published by M & N Hanhart (London) mounted on hard cardboard, one of them signed by the conductor (the other has also his facsimile signature and with heavy signs of rust stain).  Size is 8 x 9.1 inches each (probably trimmed from a larger format), in very good condition.
