Italian opera composer (1863-1945), mostly remembered today for Cavalleria Rusticana and L`Amico Fritz, among other creations. Large signed photo, inscribed and dated in Vienna in 1925. A photo by Karl Winkler, Vienna, photo is 6.6 x 8.9 inches, mounted on a photographer´s mat where the signature is, sized 9.8 x 12.9 inches, in excellent condition.

Shown as himself surrounded by six singers in costume. Inscribed to the Argentinian soprano Isabel Marengo whom he praises as "the ideal interpreter of Suzel" the leading soprano role in L'Amico Fritz. Two blind stamps on front of the photographer Moreschi, San Remo.  Size is 6 x 9 inches, vintage item in very good condition.

Cerri.  Size is 7.1 x 9.5 inches, some stains over the left border, otherwise in very good condition.

Argentine composer (1885-1938), conductor, and teacher; creator of operas and folk music. Nice sepia photograph signed and inscribed by him with a long sentiment dated in Rosario 1929; blind-stamped on the front by an unidentified photographer. Size is 5.5 x 7.6 inches, in very good condition.

Austrian composer (1896-1976). Fine original pencil sketch of the composer by Fritz Meisel (1942) signed and inscribed by Melichar, dated 1958. Size is 10 x 13.2 inches, in overall very good condition.

German composer (1809-1847), pianist, organist and conductor of the early Romantic period and one of the greatest in music history.  Original signature (probably cut from a letter or document), nicely matted with a photo. Total mat size is 6.9 x 9.4 inches, signature is 2.5 x 0.75 inches. A more affordable autograph of the great romantic composer, ready to frame. Polish composer (b.1943), who is also pianist and music scholar, his output includes mostly instrumental - including 8 symphonies - and a vast production of chamber music. Signed photo, 4.5 x 6.25 inches, in excellent condition.

Brazilian composer (1897-1986), a very significant exponent of Brazilian classical music. Beautiful black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by him with a 3-bar autograph music quote.  Size is 6.5 x 9.3 inches, vertical crease from top to bottom, jagged edges, otherwise in good condition.  Rare!

Romanian-born French composer (1898-1985), discovered by Enescu moved to Paris where he lived most of his life. His output includes over 110 works, mostly orchestral and chamber music. Gorgeous black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by him, dated in 1964; ink-stamped on verso by photographer Richard De Grab, Paris.  Size is 4.6 x 7.1 inches, runny ink, otherwise in excellent condition.
