Group of 3 playbills from the Berlin Staats-Oper between 1935 and 1941, each one includes an announcement for an upcoming performance with Wilhelm Furtwangler, either opera or orchestral concert. Large size playbills, each one being 33.25 x 11.75 inches, in fragile paper, some show minor cracks or problems, in overall very good to excellent condition.

Full program for a concert by Walther Schneiderhan with the Vienna Philharmonic under the baton of Clemens Krauss, Vienna, October 7th, 1926. Size is 5.75 x 8 inches, in very good condition.

Lot including 4 Festival Almanach (I through IV) and 4 performance programs from the Salzburg Festival in 1942. Almanachs are brochures sized 6.75 x 9.5 inches each, and programs are 5.75 x 8.25 inches. ALSO INCLUDED are 2 Spielplans or brochures with the full festival schedule, each one is 4 x 8 inches, years 1939 and 1941.

Full program with the Concertgebouw Orchestra conducted by Clemens Krauss, Hofmann performing a rare concert (Anton Rubinstein´s piano concerto Nr 4). Hofmann was the only private piano student of Anton Rubinstein (1829-1894) and a promoter of his teacher´s music. Size is 6.25 x 9.5 inches, in excellent condition.

Portuguese baritone (1856-1921), who sang leading roles in opera houses throughout Europe. Signed photo postcard, shown as Hans Heilling, dated in 1910. Size is 3.4 x 5.25 inches, some silvering, otherwise in very good condition.

German soprano (c.1900-?), wife of Josef Von Manowarda, Austrian bass (1890-1942), Signed photo shown as herself. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, in excellent condition.

South-African tenor (1965-2016), Finnish soprano (b.1957) and Servian bass (1953-2008). Triple signed photo, shown in Turandot at the Vienna Opera, 2001. Size is 5 x 7 inches, in excellent condition.

Finnish soprano (b.1957) and Austrian mezzo-soprano (b.1966), double signed photo, shown in Le Nozze di Figaro. Size is 5 x 7 inches, in excellent condition.

German mezzo-soprano (b. 1937) and German soprano (b. 1937), double signed photo, shown in Der Rosenkavalier. Size is 7.5 x 5 inches.

Star Italian tenor (1810-1879), one of the most famous in this time. Salvi sang in the world premieres of several operas by Donizetti (Il Diluvio Universale, Betly, Gianni di Parigi, Adelia) and Verdi (his first opera Oberto, and his second, Un Giorno di Regno).  Autographed print with a portrait of him by Josef Kriehuber. Salvi wrote a short sentiment, his name, and dated this in 1844. Size is 13 x 18.5 inches, minor stains and creases, overall in very good condition. Rare!

Program for a concert with the Philharmonic-Symphony Society of New York, January 17th, 1954, conducted by Bruno Walter. Size is 5.5 x 8.5 inches, in excellent condition.

Group of 10 programs with Bruno Walter conducting opera, all from between 1920 and 1937, different venues in Vienna, Berlin, Munich, London and Gravenhage. Various sizes, all complete, in very good condition. See scans of cast pages.

Austrian composer (1880-1975), dedicated mostly to operettas - Program for a very early performance of his operetta Das Glucksmadel on November 10th, 1910 (world premiere was in October) at the Raimund Theater in Vienna. Stolz conducted the orchestra himself, size is 9 x 11.5 inches. Cast includes tenor Alexander Girardi, and is in a separate inset (see scan) from the actual 14-page program, which has photos and information about this operetta.

French composer (1863-1931), who was also conductor and music teacher, mainly active in Paris. Signed cabinet photo, inscribed and dated in 1897. Photo by F. Massip, Toulouse, sized 4.25 x 5.75 inches, trimmed at the bottom and some stains, priced accordingly.

Scottish virtuoso percussionist (b. 1965), who is deaf. Signed photo, inscribed and dated in 1994. Size is 8 x 10 inches, in excellent condition.

Swiss oboist (b. 1939), who is also composer and conductor. Signed half-tone photo, shown during recording session, dated in Basel in 1965. Signature is on cardboard where the half-tone photo is attached. Total size is 9 x 7.5 inches.

American ensemble, photo signed by Mark Bleeke (primary artist) and Frederick Renz (director). Size is 8 x 6 inches, in excellent condition.

American musical ensemble, founded by Michael and Kay Jafee. Fantastic group photo signed by the two founders and the rest of the members. Size is 8 x 10 inches, in excellent condition.

Scottish-born German composer and pianist (1864-1932), unsigned CDV by J.C. Schaarwachter, Berlin, blind stamped with the year 1884 (when the composer was only 20 years old) by photographer on the lower right corner. Size is 2.6 x 4.25 inches, some wear on verso, otherwise in very good condition.
