Austrian composer (1887-1967), and conductor. Gorgeous black-and-white photograph signed by him with a short sentiment plus 4 bars of music (probably from his opera "Der Reiter der Kaiserin"), dated by him in 1941, one day before its world premiere.  Photo is mounted on a piece of hard cardboard for a total size of 4.25 x 6.5 inches, actual photo postcard is 3.6 x 5.5 inches, in excellent condition.

Italian composer (1872-1956), very popular in his time, who focused entirely in sacred music. Amazing photograph signed and dated by him in 1902, with a short music quote from his poema sinfonico Mosé, which premiered in Milan just a year earlier under the baton of Toscanini. Size is 6.5 x 8.6 inches, photo by Guigoni & Rossi, Milan. Minor rust marks over the top left corner not affecting the image nor the autograph, otherwise in excellent condition.

Italian composer (1872-1956), very popular in his time, who focused entirely on sacred music. Nice black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by him and dated in Milan, 1899, mounted on a photographer mat by Giulio Rossi (Milan). Total size is 6.75 x 8.8 inches, in excellent condition.

Italian composer (1892-1977), mostly known for his opera "La besbetica domata". Signed photograph, inscribed, dated in Naples, 1933. Signature with extensive inscription is on a mat, photo is blind stamped by photographer Alesce, Naples. Total size is 7 x 9.5 inches, photo's size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, mounting traces on verso, otherwise in excellent condition.

British composer (1913-1994). Black-and-white photograph signed by him with a short sentiment, shown young. Size is 4.4 x 6.5 inches, also signed on the lower-left front and ink-stamped on its verso by photographer Leslie Studio, few creases, in overall good condition.

American composer (1889-1949), who started her career as an organist. Phillips created songs, organ concertos and other pieces. Signed photo, inscribed and dated in 1944. Size is 8 x 10 inches, some creases, otherwise in very good condition. ALSO INCLUDED are two autograph letter signed by her, with her letterhead, each one is one page, sized 7.25 x 10.5 inches, one of them dated in 1942, in English, both in excellent condition.

Star Italian composer (1858-1924) and Austrian contralto (1879-1948).  Set of two photos of the soprano shown as Zia Principessa in Puccini's Suor Angelica.  One of them is large and the other, small.  The larger is signed in black crayon by the Italian composer and inscribed to the singer in Vienna, 1920; and also is blind-stamped on front and signed in pencil by photographer Atelier Foka, Vienna, 1920.  Photo is mounted on a mat for a total size of 8.5 x 11.6 inches, actual photo is 6.3 x 8.5 inches, minor silvering on the edges, creases in good condition.   The small one is a photo postcard signed by the Austrian contralto, size is 3.3 x 5.3 inches, in very good condition.  Photos of Puccini on other singer's photos are very rare. Fantastic photograph of the composer signed and inscribed by him to Ms. Matilde Moroni, dated in Montevideo, August 16th, 1905, shown in full body inspecting a score. Photograph is an original by A.S. Witcomb, Buenos Aires. Size is 8.1 x 13.4 inches, small stain over the upper border, minor loss of paper over the upper-right corner, minor loss of ink, otherwise in very good condition.

Beautiful black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment dated in Viareggio, 1914; a photo by C. Valdemaro (Milan). Size is 8.6 x 6.6 inches, soft silvering around borders, otherwise in very good condition.

Dupont, New York) mounted on a photographer mat by Alfieri Lacroix (Milan) signed and inscribed by the composer in Bagni di Lucca, 1909, with three bars from Mimi's aria in La Bohème.  Total size 6.1 x 9.9 inches, in excellent condition. Photographs of Puccini with music quotes are extremely rare!

French composer (1876-1947), signed photo postcard, shown as himself. Signature on front with extensive inscription on verso, written in Barcelona, dated in 1929. Blind stamped by photographer Panajouf, Bourdeaux. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, several bullet holes at edges of photo, otherwise in very good condition.

American composer and music scholar (1913-2005), creator of symphonic music, for piano and one opera, also wrote a book on music notation. Signed photograph, inscribed with a long sentiment and dated in 1941. Size is 8 x 10 inches. Stamped on verso ph by photographer Tamara, who also signed on front. Beautiful item!

American composer (1921-2005) with more than two hundred published works for concert band, orchestra, chorus, and chamber ensemble. Gorgeous black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment dated November 1978 plus a beautiful 4-bar music quote from his second symphony. Size is 8 x 9.9 inches, in excellent condition.

Large signed photo, with a short music quote from Cecilia on the top right, dated by him in 1934, inscribed to a famous record store in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Photo is 6 x 9.3 inches and is matted to a total size of 10.25 x 14.1 inches, rust spots, in overall good condition.

Russian composer (1844-1908) and teacher, Rimsky-Korsakov was a very important member of the famous group of composers called the Five. Large signed cabinet photo (imperial size), showing the composer resting on a couch, signature is on verso, inscribed to a conductor called Dimitri Klimov, dated in 1894 in Odessa (currently Ukraine). Size is 5 x 8.3 inches, gilded edges, in excellent condition - The best signed photograph of the composer we have seen, in superb condition.
