French soprano, active in the early twentieth century, signed photograph, shown in the title role of Richard Strauss's Salome, inscribed with sentiment, dated in Paris in 1935. Blind stamped on front and stamped on verso by Artico photographers, Milan. Size is 6 x 8.675 inches, in excellent condition.

American actress (1902-1970) and singer of stage, screen, and TV, active 1932-1970. A fine regular card signed by her with a short sentiment. Size is 3.4 x 2.4 inches, in excellent condition.

Ukrainian-born violinist (1895-1981), concertmaster of several important orchestras. Fine promotional playbill about his career signed by him in 1945 and inscribed at the top. Size is 6.7 x 10 inches, in excellent condition.

British-born American singer and actress (1833-1882), one of the most admired contralto of her generation. Fine card signed by her in Baltimore, 1881. Size is 3.5 x 2.2 inches, overall rust tone, mounting traces on verso, mounting traces on verso, in overall very good condition.

Star Italian tenor (1850-1905), chosen by Verdi for the title role in the world premiere of Otello in 1887. Fine small card signed by him and dated in New York, 1899. size is 3.6 x 2.4 inches, mounting traces on verso, in excellent condition.

Star Swedish opera singer (1820-1887), one of the most regarded singers of the 19th century and extraordinarily popular in her time. Fine cut with her signature and a short sentiment mounted on a slightly larger card. Total size is 4.4 x 2.75 inches, in excellent condition.

Italian soprano (1882-1963). Small card signed by her dated 1937. Size is 3.1 x 2.5 inches, in excellent condition.

Legendary German Wagnerian soprano (1872-1932). A fine card with her signature dated in Chicago, 1904. Size is 3.8 x 2.1 inches, evident signs of mounting traces on verso, in very good condition.

Italian baritone (1878-1942) who enjoyed an international reputation and sang for 13 years at the Metropolitan Opera. Fine cut from an album page or letter with his signature. Size is 5.4 x 1.5 inches, top irregularly cut, in very good condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a unsigned photo postcard of him in role, blind-stamped on the front by photographer Zelinger, Salzburg.

English pianist (1873-1951) with a noted career who began as a violinist. Regular card signed by him with a short sentiment. Size is 5 x 3.3 inches, in excellent condition.

German tenor (1823-1893). Very nice carte-de-visite (CDV) vintage photo of the tenor by W & D Downey photography studio (London), signed on verso by Wachtel. Size is 2.5 x 4.1 inches, in excellent condition.
