Typed letter in German (untranslated) signed by him and dated 1930, addressed to Anita Colombo, Director of Teatro alla Scala, proposing a musical collaboration with that theater. Typed letter in Italian (untranslated) signed by him and dated 1953, addressed to professor Giuseppe Troccoli forwarding him one of his compositions. Size is 8.9 x 11.4 inches approx., 1 page, folds, in very good condition. ALSO INCLUDED is the original envelope plus a Curriculum Vitae of the composer stapled to the letter.

Autograph letter signed by him and dated 1879 on a regular postcard, addressed to Goffredo Cammarano informing the reason for not replying sooner to the addressee. Size is 3.2 x 5.4 inches approx., rust stains, in overall very good condition.

Italian conductor (1877-1948), composer, and professor of piano at Torino Conservatory between 1936 and 1948. Autograph letter in Italian signed by him and dated 1913 (according to postal markings), addressed to journalist Nino Berrini (1880-1962) informing him about the poor health of one of his closest friends. Open size is 10.4 x 6.9 inches approx., 4 written pages in one folded sheet, central fold, creases, in very good condition. Its original envelope is ALSO INCLUDED.

Letter addressed to Pietro Mascagni written by a different hand but signed by Bassi dated in Florence, 1909, where he mentions an invitation to sing in a concert. Italian composer (1853-1913) and music editor. Autograph manuscript with the Italian translation of Brahms' German Requiem made for the first Italian performance in 1898.
