Recently Added Authentic Autographs and Memorabilia

Canadian conductor (1930-2012), pianist, and former conductor of the National Arts Centre Orchestra.  Fantastic black and white photograph signed by him, shown studying a score; stamped on verso by photographer Gold, Calgary, 1991.  Size is 8 x 10 inches, in excellent condition.

British conductor (b.1939) both of orchestral music and opera, and also pianist, particularly associated with the music of Benjamin Britten.  Nice black and white photograph shown young, signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment.  Size is 4.3 x 6 inches, in excellent condition.

American conductor (1892-1972), best known for conducting the radio program "The Voice of Firestone".  Beautiful black and white photograph shown in performance with his orchestra signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment to noted Colombian musicologist Otto De Greiff, dated in 1941.  Size is 10 x 8.1 inches, creases on two corners, otherwise in very good condition.

American composer and pianist (1898-1937), considered one of the top American composers in the 20th century for both Broadway music and the Classical concert hall.  Wonderful brownish-sepia signed photo, inscribed, with a short sentiment. Bold black in signature, one of the clearest ones we have seen. Photo is blind-stamped on the front and ink stamped on verso by photographer Nicholas Haz, New York.  Size is 7.4 x 9.4 inches, some scattered, dot-shaped loss of photographic surface, probably trimmed from a larger original size, in overall very good condition. Italian soprano (1825-1882). Autograph letter signed, 2 pages of a folded 4-page document, written in Italian, sold untranslated. Size is 5.25 x 8.25 inches, in excellent condition. ALSO INCLUDED is an unsigned playbill for a recital concert in 1872 accompanied by her husband, pianist Eduardo Vera. Size is 7.75 x 10.5 inches, in excellent condition.

American ballerina (1925-2013) and Russian-American ballet dancer (1920-1981).  Lot of 5 unsigned photographs of them (4 individually plus 1 together), three of them are ink-stamped on verso by photographer.  Sizes for photographs 1, 2 & 3 are 7.1 x 9.4 inches approximately; for photographs 4 & 5 are 5.1 x 7 inches; all in excellent condition. French film and TV actor (1921-2016).  Great black and white photograph signed and inscribed by him with a long sentiment.  Photograph is ink-stamped by Star Presse.  Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, pinholes in the upper-left and lower-right corners, otherwise in excellent condition.

French actor (1913-1988); active between 1936-1969.  Gorgeous black and white photograph (probably a movie-still) signed and inscribed by him with a long sentiment, dated in 1951.  Size is 6.7 x 9 inches, wavy left borders, otherwise in very good condition.

German pianist (1887-1953).  Beautiful black and white photograph signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment, dated in Brugges, 1941.  Photograph is ink-stamped by photographer Harcourt, Paris.  Size is 6.75 x 9.4 inches, in very good condition.

French dancer (1924-2017) and choreographer.  Beautiful black and white photograph shown in performance, signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment.  Photograph is ink-stamped on verso by photographer Lido, Paris.  Size is 7 x 9.1 inches, in excellent condition.

Belgian-born French actor (1888-1977); active in films between 1921-1966.  Great black and white photograph signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment, dated in 1951.  Size is 6.6 x 9 inches, in very good condition.

Spanish dancer and choreographer (1911-1977), and dance director of the Paris Opera.  Beautiful photograph shown in "Don Juan" signed by him; photograph is also signed by the photographer.  Size is 7 x 9.3 inches, minor silvering on borders, otherwise in very good condition.

Jamaican singer (1945-1981), songwriter, and musician, considered one of the pioneers of reggae music.  Album page signed by him and also by his producer Danny Simms (1936-2002).  Album page is also signed on verso by actor Walter Bobbie (b.1945).  1 sheet, in very good condition. ALSO INCLUDED is an unsigned modern print photograph of Bob Marley shown smoking.  Size is 11 x 8.5 inches, in excellent condition.

American singer-songwriter (b.1943).  Great color photograph shown young, signed by him.  Size is 8 x 10 inches, in excellent condition.

American actor (b.1940) of TV and films; active since 1961.  Great half-tone promo movie-still photograph signed and inscribed by him, dated in 1998.  Size is 10 x 8 inches, in excellent condition.

German opera singer and actress, also known as Klara Ziegler (1844-1909), a specialist in the Wagnerian repertoire. Autograph letter signed, dated in Munch in 1899, written in German on the first 2 pages of a 4-page document, sold untranslated. Signed as "Clara Ziegler". Size of each page is 5.25 x 7 inches, well-preserved in excellent condition.

Italian baritone (1859-1937), appeared as Marcello in the world premiere production of Puccini's La Boheme at the Teatro Regio, Turin in 1896. Autograph letter signed, 2 pages on both sides of a 4 x 7 document, composed in Bologna in 1881, written in Italian, sold untranslated. In excellent condition!

Italian soprano (1824-?). Autograph letter signed, dated in 1859, 1 page of text on the first page of a 4 page folded document, written in Italian, sold untranslated. Size of each page is 5.25 x 8 inches, small tear on the right of the back pages without text, otherwise in excellent condition.

Italian bass (1798-?), appeared in the world premiere performances of Donizetti's Marina Faliero. Autograph letter signed (signed as "V. Santini"), first 2 pages of a 4-page document, dated in 1832, written in Italian, sold untranslated. Size of each page is 5 x 8 inches, tear on the back 2 pages without text, otherwise in excellent condition with bold and clear handwriting.

Moravian-born soprano and teacher (1853-?), autograph letter signed, 4 pages, written in Italian, sold untranslated. Each page is 5 x 8 inches, attractively embossed with her first name on the front page, in excellent condition.

Italian soprano (1844-1915). Autograph letter signed, 2 pages of text on four-page folded document, written in Italian, sold untranslated, signed as "Elisa Donzelli". Each page is 5.25 x 8.25 inches, small page on the top right of back 2 pages (no text), otherwise in excellent condition.

Italian soprano, also known as Bina Steffanone or Steffenoni, (1825-1896), sang throughout Europe and in the United States between 1842-1862. Autograph letter signed, 3 pages of text on 4 sided folded document, embossed on the front page, composed in Italian, sold untranslated. Each page is 5.25 x 8 inches, very slight tear at top of last two pages, otherwise in excellent condition.

Italian tenor, helped supervise the construction, purchase of materials, and hiring of workers for the building of the Teatro Sao Joao in Rio de Janiero, Brazil, which opened in 1812. Autograph letter signed, text on first 3 pages of a 4 page folded document, written in Spanish, sold untranslated. Size of each page is 7 x 9.5 inches, unfolded document is 9.5 x 14 inches, somewhat faded text and small tear on third page not affecting the text or signature, priced accordingly.

Italian mezzo-soprano (1859-1932), who appeared in the world premiere productions of Alberto Franchetti's Asrael and Cristoforo Columbo, also married to the famous Spanish dramatic tenor Francisco Vinas. Autograph letter signed, dated in 1881, 2 pages on both sides of a two-sided document, written in Italian, sold untranslated. Size is 5.25 x 8.25 inches, in excellent condition. 

Italian bass (1806-58), appeared as Cardinal Salviati in the world premiere production of Franz Lachner's Benvenuto Cellini in Munich in 1849 (not the opera of the same name by Hector Berlioz). Autograph letter signed, dated in Munich in 1831, 1 page, written in French, sold untranslated. Addressed to "Monsieur Richard, the Director of the Theatre Royal in Paris. Size is 8.5 x 10.25 inches, faded background and tear at left side (but not affecting the text and signature), but clear and legible text and signature.

Italian soprano (1847-1917), premiered the role of Desdemona in Verdi's Otello in 1887, as well as Tigrana in Puccini's Edgar in 1889. Autograph letter signed, 2 pages, written on both sides of a document, written in Italian, sold untranslated. Size is 5.25 x 8.25 inches, very slight tear at bottom, otherwise in excellent condition. 

Italian tenor (1806-1875), appeared in the world premiere productions of Verdi's Giovanna D'Arco and Donizetti's Torquato Tasso, as well as other operas. Autograph letter signed, 1 page, written in Italian, sold untranslated, dated in 1841. Text on the first page of the 4-page folded document, page's size is 5.5 x 8.5 inches, small tear on the back page without text, otherwise in very good condition.

Italian bass, sang the role of the King in the European premiere production of Verdi's Aida at La Scala, Milan in 1872. Autograph note signed, with a brief textual quote from the final act of that opera, bold and clear signature, page size is 5 x 8 inches, in excellent condition. Vintage historic item!

French tenor and teacher (1787-1866). Autograph letter signed, dated in 1847. Written in French, sold untranslated. Document consists of four folded pages, text is on the first two. Size is 5.25 x 8 inches, small tear and ink stain on back pages (without text), otherwise in excellent condition.

Italian mezzo-soprano (1835-1901). Autograph music quote signed and dated by her in Milan in 1895. Size is 4.75 x 7.25 inches, on brown carbon paper, in good condition.

American actress (b.1965) and model; and American actress (b.1946) and activist.  Beautiful color movie-still photograph of the 1978 film "Pretty Baby" signed by both stars.  Size is 11 x 8.5 inches, in excellent condition.

American singer-songwriter (b.1970), and actress; active since 1986.  Great color photograph signed by her.  Size is 8 x 10.1 inches, in excellent condition.

American novelist and journalist (1900-1949), author of the famous novel "Gone with the Wind", winner of Pulitzer prize in 1937.  Typed letter signed by her with her full married name (in the letterhead), discussing with her publisher about rights and edition of the novel.  Size is 8.5 x 11 inches, 1 page, light damage on edges, 2 folds, otherwise in very good condition. Very important document, unique as one of the America's greatest writers.

American traditional pop vocalist (b.1927), famous as a radio personality during the 1940s and 1950s.  Beautiful black and white photograph signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment.  Size is 8.1 x 10 inches, in very good condition.

English composer (1885-1969) and teacher, focused mostly on light music.  Beautiful black and white photograph signed by him with a short sentiment.  Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, in excellent condition.

American folk musician (1908-1991).  Beautiful black and white photograph signed by him, dated in 1989.  Size is 8 x 10 inches, minor mounting traces on verso, otherwise in excellent condition.

American actress (b.1947), active since 1970.  Beautiful promo movie-still photograph signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment, shown in the 1980 film "Hero at Large".  Size is 8.1 x 10 inches, in excellent condition.

American soil conservationist (1888-1974).  First Range Conservation Issue dated in 1961 signed by him in blue ink.  Size is 6.5 x 3.6 inches, some pencil markings, in very good condition.

Hungarian-born American actress and socialité (1917-2016).  Nice black and white photograph signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment.  Size is 8 x 10 inches, in excellent condition.
