English stage, television, and film actor (1912-1979), best known for his collaboration in Hitchcock's films; active between 1933-1979.  Beautiful photo postcard signed by him.  Size is 3.5 x 5.3 inches, minor creases over the upper-right corner, otherwise in excellent condition.

English actor (b.1937) of stage and screen, but focused on performing in the theatre from the mid-1960s onwards.  Beautiful black and white photograph shown young signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment.  Size is 3.4 x 5.4 inches, in excellent condition.

English writer (1905-1987), dramatist, and actor.  Beautiful photo postcard shown young, signed by him with a short sentiment.  Size is 3.3 x 5.25 inches, in excellent condition.

Hungarian violinist (1845-1930), academic, composer, conductor and famous as a violin teacher. Among his many students were Mischa Elman, Jascha Heifetz, Nathan Milstein, Efrem Zimbalist, Benno Rabinof, Kathleen Parlow and other great performers.  Signed cabinet photo, inscribed to one of his most famous students, Kathleen Parlow, dated by him in Eisenach in 1906, where Auer spent his summer vacations and gave classes. Born in Canada, Kathleen Parlow (1890-1963) met Auer in 1905 in St. Petersburg, Russia, and took classes from him. This is a fantastic piece of violin memorabilia, with an autograph from one of the greatest to one of his later famous students. Auer autographs are rather rare and valuable. Size is 4.25 x 6.4 inches, an original cabinet photo by Elliott & Fry, London, trimming at the bottom taking probably 0.1 inches, repaired crack on the top left corner. Cabinet photo is mounted on a slightly larger black cardboard, to a total size of 4.5 x 6.8 inches and can not be detached.

English actor (1915-1998), best known for his roles in films based on Oscar Wilde's plays; active between 1938-1996.  Great black and white photograph shown as himself, signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment.  Size is 3.4 x 5.4 inches, in excellent condition.

British writer (1859-1930) and medical doctor, creator of the famous character Sherlock Holmes in 1887. Autograph note signed, dated in 1914, thanking someone for photos of Sherlock. One page, on letterhead paper from the Queen´s Hotel in Montreal, Canada. Size is 6.2 x 9.25 inches, folds, in excellent condition.

Highly important Spanish opera singer (1775-1832), composer, impresario and singing teacher. García also created roles in several important world premieres. Interesting and very rare receipt, handwritten and signed by him, dated in 1804, for receiving money from Teatro Caños del Peral for the music of the musical tragedy "Athalie" (by Jean-Baptiste Racine, with choruses composed by Manuel Garcia). Italian bass-baritone (1805-1875). Autograph letter signed, 2 pages of a folded 4-page document, dated in Genova in 1835, written in Italian, sold untranslated. Size of each page is 7.5 x 9.75 inches, slight tear on front pages, and more significant on back pages without text, otherwise in good condition.

Italian baritone (1819-1891), who created roles in several world opera premieres, including Verdi's Il Giorno di Regno. Autograph letter signed, with additional writing by another hand at the top of the first page and throughout the second page, with Ferlotti's text and signature at the bottom of the first page. 2 pages, written on both sides of a 6 x 8.5 inch document, written in Italian, sold untranslated. Some rust at the bottom of the document but in generally good condition. 

Italian soprano (1805-1853), document signed by her in 1827, and by another hand below her signature. 1 page written in Italian, sold untranslated. Size is 7.25 x 11 inches, small bullet hole on top right and some rust throughout but otherwise in good condition.

Size is 5.25 x 8 inches, a beautiful vintage item,  in excellent condition.

Italian baritone (1828-1901), who sang Don Carlo di Vargas in the world premiere of Verdi's La Forza del Destino. Very rare autograph note signed, dated in 1870, in Italian, sold untranslated. Size is 4 x 5.25 inches, slight tear on top right, otherwise in excellent condition.

Italian soprano (1831-(1865 (?)). Autograph note signed, written in French, sold untranslated. Very rare historic item! Size is 5.25 x 8 inches, small smudge above text, otherwise in excellent condition.

Italian baritone (1819-1883) starred as the Count Di Luna in the world premiere performances of Verdi's Il Trovatore in 1853 and also created several other leading roles in operas by lesser-known Italian composers. Autograph letter signed, 3 pages of a folded 4-page document, written in Italian, sold untranslated. Italian tenor (1902-?), autograph letter signed, written on the letterhead of the Hotel Massimo d'Azeglio, Rome, dated in 1936.  Addressed to the management of La Scala, Milan, discusses his debut in the role of Maurizio in Cilea's Adriana Lecouvreur. 1 page written in Italian, sold untranslated. size is 8.75 x 11.5 inches, in excellent condition. 

French tenor (1876-?), signed album page, dated in Chicago in 1911 as a "souvenir of Pelleas", possibly following a performance of the title role of Debussy's Pelleas et Melisande. Size is 5.5 x 8.5 inches, jagged edges at bottom of page but otherwise in excellent condition. 

Italian baritone (1910-2002). Typed letter signed, addressed to the management of La Scala, Milan, on his personal letterhead, dated in 1964. 1 page written in Italian, sold untranslated. Printed signature under the typed text. Size is 7.5 x 11 inches, in excellent condition. 

Italian tenor (b. 1922), typed letter signed, on his personal letterhead, addressed to the management of La Scala, Milan, dated in Milan in 1963.  Printed signature underneath the typed text. 1 page, written in Italian, sold untranslated. Size is 7.75 x 11 inches, in excellent condition. 

Swiss bass (1916-1984) especially celebrated for his comic roles in the 1950s to the 1970s, widely recorded. Typed letter signed with his business letterhead, dated in Lugano in 1950, addressed to the director of La Scala, Milan. Contains printed signature underneath the typed text. 1 page, written in Italian, sold untranslated. Size is 8.25 x 11.75 inches, a rare item in excellent condition. 

Italian bass (1893-1983), starred in the world premiere of Mascagni's Nerone. Autograph letter signed, written to the director of La Scala, Milan in 1933. Embossed with the letterhead of the Anglo-American Hotel, Florence. 2 pages, written in Italian, sold untranslated, each page is 6 x 8.25 inches, with small bullet holes at the top and middle of each page, otherwise in very good condition. 

Italian contralto, creator of the role of La Cieca in Ponchielli's La Gioconda in 1876. Autograph letter signed, dated in 1880. 3 pages of a 4-page folded document, written in Italian, sold untranslated. Each page is 5 x 8.25 inches, total item size is 8.25 x 10.25 inches, in excellent condition.

Italian mezzo-soprano (1846-1905), starred as Laura Adorno in the world premiere performances of Ponchielli's La Gioconda at La Scala, Milan in 1876. Autograph letter signed, 1 page, written in Italian sold untranslated. Size is 5 x 8 inches, small tear on top right and slight smudge underneath, not affecting the text and signature below, otherwise in excellent condition.

French mezzo-soprano (1855-1901). Autograph letter signed, 2 pages folded document written on both pages, written in Milan in Italian, sold untranslated. Size is 5.25 x 8 inches, in excellent condition.

Hungarian soprano (1832-1892). Autograph letter signed, 6 pages, written in Italian, sold untranslated. Each page is 4.5 x 7 inches, in excellent condition.

Italian dramatic soprano, active in the 1880s and 1890s who starred in the role of Nefta/Suor Clotilde in the world premiere performances of Alberto Franchetti's Asrael in 1888. Autograph letter signed, dated in Florence in 1876, 3 pages written in Italian, sold untranslated. Size of each page is 5.5 x 8.25 inches, unfolded total size is 8.25 x 10.75 inches, small tear on the top right of last pages, otherwise in excellent condition. 

Italian baritone and voice teacher (1822-1907), wrote books on singing and teaching. Signed cabinet photograph, shown as himself, signed on verso. Size is 4.25 x 6.5 inches, with very small bullet holes on several corners of the cabinet not affecting image and signature. Otherwise in very good condition.

Italian bass (1901-1970). Autograph letter signed, addressed to the manager of La Scala, written in Bari, Italy, dated in 1953. 1 page, written in Italian, sold untranslated. Size is 9 x 11.25 inches, with small bullet holes on the left side of the document, otherwise in excellent condition. 

Russian prima ballerina and choreographer (b.1940), her book "A Dance Autobiography" signed and inscribed by her on the title page, with a short sentiment. Larger size book (9 x 12 inches) with 366 pages, hard covers and dust jacket, many illustrations (photographs) about her career. In excellent condition. Star Russian pianist (b.1971), his book "Memoirs and Reflections", boldly signed by him on the frontend page. Published by ForeEdge, 2017, hardcovers, dust jacket, 190 numbered pages, in excellent condition. Also included is a program for a concert in Chicago in May 2018, with a ticket stub to meet Kissin after the concert (not shown). All in excellent condition.

Israeli politician (1915-2012), who served as the seventh Prime Minister of Israel, serving two terms, 1983-1984 and 1986-1992.  Signed book "Summing Up", first edition 1994 by Weidenfeld and Nicolson, London. Signature is on the title page, and is inscribed, with a short sentiment. Hard covers, dust jacket, 276 numbered pages, dated by him in 1996.

French actress (b.1963) of TV and Films, active since 1972.  Beautiful color movie-still photograph of the film "Les Enfants du Desordre" (1989) signed by her with a short sentiment.  Size is 8.25 x 10.7 inches, pinholes on corners, otherwise in very good condition.
