French-born ballet dancer (1924-2004), who had a very important international career in Europe and the USA. dancing for the Ballet Russe company under Massine, the ABT, Marquis de Cuevas company, and other important companies, and became a teacher at Julliard School for many years. Signed photo, shown in performance, 8 x 10 inches, inscribed, dated in 1960 when she was part of the Grand Ballet du Marquis de Cuevas in Paris, in excellent condition.

Austrian drummer and multi-percussionist (b.1983), winner of important awards and an international career plus several recordings. Signed photo, 5 x 7 inches, in excellent condition

German cellist (b.1979), and professor in Dresden, with an important career giving concerts (plays a Stradivarius cello previously used by Janos Starker), and author of a good number of recordings. Signed photo, 5 x 7 inches, in excellent condition

Full program for the last night at the old Metropolitan Opera house in New York, the building was used from 1883 through 1966 and for this farewell performance on April 16th, 1966, there was a special gala show with many famous singers. Program with many articles about the Metropolitan Opera history and the old building, 8 x 11 inches, with all 96 pages and covers.

Inaugural program for the new opera house for the Met Opera in New York, Sept 16th, 1966, and world premiere of Samuel Barber's "Antony and Cleopatra", considered a big setback in Barber's career, as the opera was widely criticized. Full program, with all 144 pages and covers, many interesting articles about the new opera house, and also photos. Size is 8 x 11 inches, in excellent condition. See also the SILK program.

Greek-born Maltese tenor (1882-1941), who had a great international career focused mostly on the Italian repertoire, left recordings for Columbia, Pathé, and Fonotipia. Fine photograph signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment, dated in 1913; a photograph by Comerio Suca, Milan. Size is 7.25 x 11.75 inches, with beautiful serrated borders, in very good condition. Rare!

Program for a performance of "Arabian Nights", a musical with Lauritz Melchior as the Sultan. Performance at the Jones Beach Theater in the waterfront state park of the same name, in New York state. Melchior signed under his photo in his profile page, full program with all pages and covers, with many photos inside, circa 1955. Size is 8.5 x 11 inches, in excellent condition

Program for a recital in Philadelphia, 1937, at Curtis Institute of Music, by the students of famous baritone and singing teacher Emilio di Gogorza (1872-1949). Full 4-page program, signed on cover by him and by singer-actress Irra Petina, signed inside by several performers (William Horne, Edna Haddock, Florence Kirk, Fritz Krueger, Vera Resnikoff and Lester Englander) Also signed by star pianist Josef Hoffmann, who did not perform that night - 9 signatures in total, size is 5.5 x 9.5 inches, some folds and minor wear, otherwise in very good condition

German conductor and composer (1875-1937), was in charge of the Dresden Philharmoinic 1929-32 among other orchestras in Germany, focused on late romanticism pieces and the dissemination of works by Richard Strauss, toured extensively and died while on tour. As a composer, created songs, chamber music and smaller orchestral works. Signed card attached to a cardboard with a photo, with a short sentiment, dated in 1932. Also included is an unsigned photo postcard of the conductor and composer, sizes are 4 x 5.75 for the signed piece, and 3.25 x 5.5 inches for the unsigned photo postcard, both in excellent condition.

German composer (1871-1935), dedicated to teaching and composed a variety of works, including opera, orchestral works, chamber music, piano music, singing and choral works. Rare autograph music quote from one of his works, entitled "Someridylle", signed and dated by him in 1933. Size is 6 x 4 inches, in excellent condition

German conductor (1875-1938) whose career developed mostly associated with the Dresden Theater, where he worked together with Fritz Reiner and Fritz Busch. Signed photo postcard, 3.5 x 5.5 inches, in excellent condition

German opera composer (1875-1942), created 5 operas and orchestral works, worked in the US, England, and later produced the Munich Opera Festival until 1934 when he was banished by the nazi government. Music quote from his Festival Prelude, op. 53, signed and dated in 1938, together with an autograph letter, in German, signed by him - also dated in 1938 in Hechendorf am Pilsensee, Bavaria, where he lived and would die 4 years later. Sizes are 7 x 3.25 inches for the autograph music quote signed, and 8.75 x 11 inches autograph letter. Letter is 1 page long, it is written only on 1 side, has some minor folds, and is sold untranslated.

Czech-born Croatian soprano (1913-1986).  Signed photo postcard shown as Carmen in Bizet's opera.  Size is 4 x 6 inches, in very good condition.

American dancer (1957-1987), a leading figure at the American Ballet Theater. Bissell was at the top of his fame when he died of a drug overdose at age 30. Large signed promo photo, affixed to hard cardboard, inscribed. Size is 8.75 x 12 inches, in excellent condition. Rare!

German baritone (1879-?).  Signed photo postcard, inscribed and dated by him in Vienna, 1911. Size is 3.5 x 5.25 inches, excellent condition.

Russian-born French dramatic soprano (1860-1936) who was particularly associated to Wagnerian roles. Litvinne developed a fantastic career in Europe and later became a voice teacher. Autobiography book, entitled "Ma Vie et Mon Art", in French, published by Librairie Plon, 1933. Signed on first page by the star soprano, inscribed to one of her students, American singer Cecilia Mitchell. Size is 4.75 x 7.5 inches, complete with all 292 pages plus covers, minor water damage on front cover, binding and pages in excellent condition
