Set of 6 vintage CDVs (cartes de visite) of 19th century opera singers from Germany and Hungary - see photo. Top row, left to right:  Hungarian soprano Marie Rabatinsky (1841-?), German Soprano Bianca Bianchi (1855-1947), German soprano Louise Dustmann (1831-1899). Bottom row, left to right: Austrian star soprano Pauline Lucca (1841-1908), Hungarian soprano Bertha Ehnn (1841-1932), Hungarian baritone Louis Bignio (1839-1907). Size is approx. 2.75 x 4 inches each, all in excellent condition.

German dramatic soprano (1884-1971) who was engaged by Richard Strauss at the Vienna Staatsoper where she became an admired member of the company.  Her roles included Brünnhilde, Isolde, Sieglinde, Senta, the Marschallin and Elektra, as well as a few roles of the Italian and French repertory. Swedish mezzo-soprano (1884-1974).  Signed photo shown in a boat with her husband Sven, dated in London, 1913. Size 3.25 x 5.5 inches, in very good condition.

Dutch soprano (1873-1953).  Signed photo postcard, shown as herself, dated in 1909, London. Minor silvering over lower left border. Size 3.25 x 5.5 inches.

English soprano (1877-?).  Signed photo postcard shown as herself.  Size 3.25 x 5.5 inches, some silvering around borders, otherwise in perfect condition. 

British pianist (1919-2004). She appeared at the Proms playing Saint-Saens's Second Piano Concerto with Henry Wood in 1938, and took part in several lunchtime concerts for Myra Hess at the National Gallery. Thereafter she gradually disappeared from the public stage. Signed photo postcard, dated in 1949. Size 3.5 x 5.5 inches

South African-born British mezzo-soprano (b.1953).  Signed photo shown as herself, inscribed. Size is 5 x 8 inches, in excellent condition.

German tenor (b.1940).  Signed photo shown as Siegfried in Wagner's Gotterdämmerung at Bayreuth Festival. Size 4 x 6 inches.

American baritone and teacher (1874-1949), raised in Spain. He developed an important career mostly as a recital singer and left a good amount of recordings. Uncut signed record label, for one of his recordings, matted with a nice photo, shown as himself. Sizes are 13.5 x 9.75 inches (total mat size), 3.5 x 3.75 inches (signed label) and 3.75 x 5 inches (photo). Double acid-free mat, all in excellent condition.  

English composer and teacher (1837-1916), originally from a family of musicians, Barnett created a fair amount of both orchestral and vocal music. Autograph music quote signed, with 14 bars of music for piano from an unknown piece, dated in Leipzig in 1860, sized 7 x 4.75 inches. Mounting traces on verso, otherwise in excellent condition, rare

William George Cusins, English composer, pianist, violinist and conductor (1833-1893), was also organist and music teacher. Cusins toured extensively through Europe as a pianist and as a composer. Autograph music quote signed, dated by him in 1879, inscribed, from an unknown piece. Size is 7 x 4.5 inches, mounting traces on verso, in excellent condition
