American soprano and teacher (b. 1945), signed publicity photograph, shown as herself. Size is 8 x 10 inches, in excellent condition.

Australian soprano (1907-1979) especially celebrated in the Wagnerian repertoire but whose career was cut short by polio. Signed photograph, shown in the title role of Richard Strauss's Salome, inscribed. Printed photographer signature on front. Size is 8 x 10 inches, small creases on each corner, otherwise in good condition. 

Italian soprano (b.1930), large signed photograph, shown in role, possibly in Rossini's La Cenerentola, inscribed and dated in 1964. Signature is on the photo itself and not the soft cardboard mat onto which it has been mounted. Photo itself is 7 x 9.25 inches, total item size is 9 x 11.5 inches, small crease on the bottom left of the photo, otherwise in very good condition. 

Austrian violinist (1921-2022) who had a distinguished career based in his native Vienna, founder of the Barylli String Quartet. Beautiful black-and-white photograph signed by him on verso in 1959, shown with his quartet ( Emanuel Brabel, Rudolf Streng, and Otto Sevasser) and conductors Karl Böhm and Dimitri Mitropoulos. Size is 7.1 x 4.9 inches, in excellent condition.

German conductor, pianist, and composer (1830-1894), one of the most famous conductors of the 19th century. Fine autograph letter in French (sold with translation -not shown) with the printed image of Hector Berlioz over the upper-left side of the letter, signed by von Bulow and dated in 1882, commenting about his admiration for the music of Berlioz and other musical stuff.  Size is 8.25 x 10.75 inches, 1 page, folds, overall rust tone and creases, blue crayon markings over the text, in overall very good condition.

Russian conductor and violinist (b. 1944), currently principal conductor of the National Philharmonic of Russia. Fantastic black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by him, shown in performance as a soloist violinist. Size is 10 x 7.9 inches, in excellent condition.

American lyricist (1913-1993), songwriter, and musician. Fine black-and-white photograph signed by him, shown next to his piano. Size is 8 x 10 inches, in excellent condition.

American jazz trumpeter (1911-1989), nicknamed "Little Jazz". Beautiful black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment, shown young. Red markings on the photograph indicate Basel, Switzerland, May 23, 1950. Size is 8.1 x 10 inches, big crease across at the bottom and a small one over the upper-right corner, otherwise in very good condition.

American composer and pianist (1898-1937), considered one of the top American composers in the 20th century for both Broadway music and the Classical concert hall.  Check #3165 signed by him and issued for US$15.58 on July 3, 1935. Size is 6.3 x 2.75 inches, left and top borders jagged, verso with ink-markings and seals, folds, in very good condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a gorgeous black-and-white unsigned photograph featuring the composer at work. Size is 7.9 x 9.9 inches, in excellent condition.

American comedy trio whose members were Harpo Marx (1888-1964), Chico Marx (1887-1961), and Groucho Marx (1890-1977). Fine black-and-white photograph signed with a short sentiment by Chico (who also signed for the others). Size is 10 x 7.75 inches, evident creases over the right border, in very good condition.

Russian composer (1865-1936), conductor, and music teacher who had a big impact on Russian music and composers of his time, both as a pedagogue and composer. Autograph letter in Russian (sold untranslated) signed by him, dated 1907, recommending a fellow musician. Size is 8 x 10.25 inches, red crayon markings over a part of the text, folds, some dirt, in overall very good condition.

Belgian cellist (1840-1915); Australian-born pianist (1864-1952). Set of two semihard cardboards signed by Ernest De Munck, Marguerite de Pachmann,  violinist Wilma Neruda, British comedian George Grossmith and other artists such as Eleanor Rees, Sophie Robertson, and others.  Size is 9 x 11.25 inches each, irregularly cut left border, in very good condition. French violinist and composer (1852-1920), who wrote over 100 pieces for violin. Beautiful cabinet photograph of the violinist by photographer R. Krziwanek (Vienna) signed by Sauret at the bottom. Size is 4.5 x 6.5 inches, in very good condition.

French composer (1892-1974), conductor, and teacher; one of the most prolific composers of the 20th century. Fine black-and-white photo postcard signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment dated 1969 plus a 4-bar music quote from his work "La Creation du Monde". Size is 3.5 x 5.25 inches, in excellent condition.

Italian opera composer (1858-1924), the greatest creator of verismo for over 30 years until his death from cancer. Beautiful vintage photo postcard signed by the composer, shown a young Puccini next to young composers Mascagni and Franchetti. Size is 5.4 x 3.4 inches, some smudge over signature, in very good condition.

Famous German conductor (1890-1951), was music director at Glyndebourne and spent years in South America. Black-and-white photograph signed by him with a long sentiment and dated in Buenos Aires, 1941. Size is 4.5 x 7 inches, mounting traces and tape residues on verso, in overall very good condition.

Program for the gala performance at The Metropolitan Opera to honor the visit of the Prince Henry of Prussia in 1902.  Size is 6.75 x 9.9 inches, 27 pages, full program with all pages and covers, some damage on the spine, in perfect condition on the inside. Set of 2 admission tickets for the opera gala on the occasion of the Centennial of The Metropolitan Opera House, New York, on October 22, 1983. Size is 1.5 x 4.1 inches each, in excellent condition.

Program for the world premiere of Benjamin Britten's opera "Billy Budd" at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, on December 1, 1951, starring British tenor Peter Pears as Captain Bere and conducted by the composer himself. Size is 8.5 x 10.7 inches, 4 pages, in excellent condition.

French soprano (1900-?). Black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment dated 1927; blind-stamped on the front by photographer Jos. Rentmeesters (Brussels). Siz is 4.5 x 6.9 inches, minor silvering, stains, jagged edges, in very good condition.

Belgian tenor (1897-1964).   Fine black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment shown as Rodolfo in Puccini's "La Bohème". Size is 4.6 x 6.9 inches, in excellent condition.

Spanish soprano (1808-1836) who commonly sang both contralto and soprano parts, and was one of the best-known opera singers of the XIX century. Original, genuine receipt for $1075 francs signed by the star soprano dated October 19, 1830, issued by Thèatre Royal Italien (Paris). Size is 7.3 x 7.7 inches, left border irregularly cut, folds, in overall excellent condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a vintage lithograph mounting over an irregularly cut soft cardboard depicting the soprano, published by J. McCormick in London (1829) upon a drawing by artist T. Fairland. Total size is 12.5 x 14.75 inches, in very good condition.

American bass (1873-1935) and later opera manager, made many recordings in the early days of the Victor Talking Machine company. Signed photograph, shown as himself,  inscribed. Stamped on verso by Kaufmnn and Fabry photographers, Chicago. Size is 4.75 x 9.75 inches, several creases on top and bottom, otherwise in good condition.
