French composer, pianist, and teacher (1858-1936), Guy D`Hardelot was the pen name for Helen Rhodes. Printed score for her song Wings, signed and inscribed on the front cover. Size is 9.5 x 12.1 inches, in excellent condition.

Italian composer (1867-1955), writer of Neapolitan songs. Nice manuscript for his song "Triste Aprile" signed on the last page. Size is 9.25 x 13 inches, 4 sheets handwritten on 7 pages, in very good condition.

French composer (1853-1929), who was also an important conductor and impresario. Note signed in French, dated in 1884, (sold untranslated) and autograph music quote signed for an unknown pieace. Note is one page sized 4.25 x 6.8 inches and music quote is 5 x 3.6 inches, both in excellent condition.

Italian born composer and pianist (1906-1986), who was also a teacher and lived most of his life in Argentina. He created mainly concertos and orchestral music. Signed photo, inscribed and dated in 1952. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, in excellent condition.

French tenor (1815-1879), who performed in the world premieres of Meyerbeer's Le Prophete and Berlioz's La Damnation de Faust. Hand-colored lithograph published by Decan, Paris, showing him as Azael, the role he created in the 1850 world premiere of Auber´s opera "L`Enfant Prodigue". Size is 7 x 10.25 inches, in excellent condition.

Star Swedish soprano Jenny Lind (1820-1887), lithograph by William Hall & Son, New York, shown in La Sonnambula, sized 9.75 x 13.1 inches, water stain over the left margin. German soprano Sofia Cruvelli (1826-1907), who world-premiered operas for Verdi and Meyerbeer. Vintage lithograph by Lemercier, Paris, shown as herself, sized 6.75 x 8.5 inches, matted to a total of 11.25 x 13.5 inches, rust on mat. Famous French soprano Laure Cinti-Damoreau (1801-1863), who premiered several Rossini and Auber operas, lithograph published by Rigo Freres, Paris, sized 7.1 x 9.5 inches, some rust stains. All three of them in very good condition.

English soprano (1802-1867), original 1821 etching by Richard Dighton, who created and published it in 1821, Wilson is shown in the role of Mandane in Artaxerxes (an opera by English composer Thomas Arne, premiered in 1762), this is the role of her London debut at age of only 19. Cut at the top, size is 8.4 x 10.8 inches, in excellent condition.

Leading Italian tenor (1845-1896), and brother of the famous conductor Cleofonte Campanini, his career developed in Europe where he was famous, later in America and was at the first inaugural night of the Metropolitan in 1883 in the title role in Faust.  Large signed lithograph by F. Matthews and Sons, shown young, probably taken from a book. Size is 10.4 x 14.25 inches, some rust toning over 3 of the borders, not affecting his image and barely affecting part of the signature, otherwise in very good condition.

Italian soprano (1828-1922), later singing teacher, belonging to a family of singers (mother, sisters and brother were also singers), Boccabadati was famous in her time and even was considered by Verdi for the title role in the world premiere of La Traviata in 1853. Signed lithograph with a large portrait of her, labeled as the Prima Donna assoluta of the Teatro di Modena, season 1853-54, with a short sentiment by her. Size is 10.75 x 15.25 inches, some repaired cracks, rust and overall age toning, in good condition.

Full magazine, issue from January 24th, 1886, announcing the recent decease of composer Amilcare Ponchielli (1834-1886), which took place just 8 days earlier. Twenty pages in total including covers, with the cover (see scan) and the first 7 pages entirely dedicated to Ponchielli, his life and operas, some good illustrations, size is 10.5 x 14.6 inches, in excellent condition.

Small poster with caricatures of famous singers, advertising Teatro San Carlos in Lisbon, Portugal, early 1900s. Main artists include Hariclea Darclee, baritone Massimo Scaramella, tenor Alfred Rittershaus, sopranos Olga Carrera and Valentina Mendioroz, tenor Valentin Duc, bass Agostino Lanzoni and others, totalling 10 singers. Mini poster is mounted on a slightly larger hard cardboard to a total size of 11.25 x 15.75 inches, some rust, in very good condition.

Spanish Catalan composer (1871-1932) whose best-known work is his zarzuela "Doña Francisquita". Large signed photo, inscribed to a record store in Buenos Aires, Argentina, dated in that city in 1924. Photo is blind-stamped by photographer Bixio, Buenos Aires, who also signed at the top right. Vives inscribed and signed this large item on the mat, below the photo, total size is  12.5 x 16.25 inches, in excellent condition. Contrast in the actual item is better than in the scan. See detail. French composer (1818-1885), creator mostly of songs and piano music. Large autograph music quote, signed and dated in Paris, 1880, for piano and voice, from the song "Petite Fleur". Size is 13.9 x 10.75 inches, 1 page, vertical fold across the center and two horizontal folds, minor cracks, otherwise in excellent condition.

French tenor (1806-1896) and singing teacher, known as the creator of the role of Edgardo in the world premiere of Lucia di Lammermoor (1835). Vintage clip from L´Illustration, Journal Universel, Paris, 1851, showing him and his daughter, French soprano Caroline Duprez (1832-1875). On verso, clips from an article from this issue of L`Illustration about him and Caroline, all mounted on a mat that is 9.5 x 12.5 inches, in excellent condition.

Vintage clips from L`Illustration, Journal Universel, issued in November 1843, just days after the world premiere of Donizetti´s opera "Don Sebastien" (which took place in Paris on November 13th). Two original clips, attached to both sides of a white cardboard, sized 12.6 x 9.4 inches, one side with a scene from the 3rd act, in a public square (clip is 9.25 x 6.75 inches), verso with a drawing depicting Nicolas Levasseur, who performed as The Great Inquisitor in the world premiere (clip is 3.2 x 4.75 inches). All in excellent condition.

Famous English soprano (c.1692-1795), later contralto, associated to Handel operas. Vintage lithograph published by Richard Bentley, London, 1838, after a sketch by G. Vanderbank, 1723. Size is 5.5 x 8.75 inches, minor paper loss on lower right corner, and minor damage on lower border, otherwise in excellent condition.
