Italian composer (1749-1801), his career focused mostly on opera (created over 80 of them), Cimarosa also wrote instrumental music. Great vintage lithograph of him (on a real portrait of him made by Coltellini), published in 1837 as a short, 10-page biography in Italian. Print is on page 1, biography is printed on pages 2 through 8, original blank covers. Size is 7 x 10.75 inches, in excellent condition.

German actor and tenor (1927-1985) who specialized in operetta, signed publicity photo, shown as himself. Inscribed. Size is 3.7 x 5.25 inches, in very good condition.

French baritone (1848-1935), particularly associated with the French repertory and Mozart roles. Beautiful photograph signed boldly and inscribed by him, shown as himself, dated in 1930. Photo is mounted on a cardboard frame with solid backing. Size is 5.1 x 7.4 inches with some wear on edges, silvering, and tape residues by the top (not affecting the signature); otherwise in excellent condition.

Armenian tenor, also written as Grigoryan, (1951-2016), signed photo, shown as himself. Signed and dated at the Metropolitan Opera in 1995. Size is 4 x 7 inches, in excellent condition.

American soprano (1896-1951), signed photo, shown as herself. Sang primarily at the Metropolitan Opera in the 1920's and 30's, later became a mystery writer best known for "Murder at the Met". Inscribed with clear signature, very rare. Size is 4.8 x 6.75 inches with a horizontal crease across the bottom of the photo not affecting the signature. Otherwise in very good condition.

Chinese soprano (b. 1972), signed photo, shown as Aida at Vienna State Opera in 2008. Large beautiful photo with colorful costume. Size is 5 x 7.25 inches in excellent condition.

Ritter was one of the leading baritones of his day, performing frequently in Salzburg and many other German theaters. This is a very rare photo with a bold and clear signature. Size is 5.5 x 3.5 inches in very good condition.
