Italian soprano (1835-1889). Venezuelan pianist, composer, and conductor (1853-1917). Vintage carte-de-visite (CDV) of the two artists by photographer Warren (Boston). Size is 2.5 x 4.1 inches, ink-markings on verso, in overall very good condition.

Superstar Italian soprano (1843-1919), one of the greatest singers of the 19th century. Fine stereographic card depicting her, shown in role (probably as Juliette in Gounod's "Romeo et Julietta") -an original by London Stereoscopic Company. Size is 6.8 x 3.3 inches, in excellent condition.

Program for a performance of the star Greek soprano at the Royal Festival Hall on May 31, 1963, with the Philharmonia Orchestra under the baton of Georges Pretre.  Size is 7.25 x 9.7 inches, full program with all pages and covers, in excellent condition. ALSO INCLUDED are two ticket stubs for this very concert and a modern print photograph of the soprano during that night ink-stamped on verso by United Press.

American mezzo-soprano (1881-1944). Fine sepia photograph signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment, shown as herself; also signed on the front and ink-stamped on verso by photographer Morse (New York). Lot of three autograph letters signed by him, dated between 1921 and 1922 where he addresses Art critic Henry Lapauze, expressing his gratitude for the flattering words the editor kindly introduced him to the readers in Lapauze's magazine. French ballet dancer (1820-?) with a brilliant career in Paris, Madrid, and New Orleans. Autograph letter in French signed by her, dated 1853, sent to tenor Giovanni Battista Benelli (1773-1857) about personal matters. Size is 4.8 x 7.3 inches, 1 page, folds, rust stains, in overall very good condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a printed note informing about the decease of Mr. Benelli and that his business will be taken care of by E. Caimi, from 1857.

French actress (1802-1871). Autograph letter in French signed by her, no date addressed to a certain Monsieur Sauvage, concerning an upcoming meeting. Size is 5 x 8 inches, 1 written page, overall rust tone, folds, in overall very good condition.

French playwright (1848-1912), vaudeville creator, and novelist, whose best know work was his play "Madame X". Autograph letter in French signed by him, dated in Paris, May 29, 1908, about business. Size is 4.2 x 5.2 inches, 2 written pages in one sheet, in very good condition. ALSO INCLUDED is his personal card with a short quote written by him.

French actor (1847-1918) Autograph letter in French signed by him, no date, addressed to a certain “Maître”, presumably the writer Alphonse Daudet (1840-1897) thanking him for the artistic advice given to his son. Size is 4.5 x 6.9 inches, 2 written pages in one sheet. ALSO INCLUDED is an original vintage print of him (size is 3 x 4 inches), and a short newspaper clip about him.

French actor and vaudeville (1806-1877). Autograph letter in French (sold untranslated) signed by him, no date, addressed to a certain Mr. Pauquet requesting payment in advance to comply with some of his debts.  Size is 5 x 7.4 inches on each page, 4 written pages in one folded sheet, some smudge and folds, in overall very good condition.

French vaudevillist and librettist (1825-1901). Autograph letter in French (sold untranslated) signed by him and dated in 1891(?), addressed to presumably Director Hilarion Ballande. Size is 4 x 5.2 inches, 2 written pages in one sheet.

French writer, libretist and dramatist (1832-1907), nephew of the famous composer Fromental Halévy. Collection of 12 autograph letters in French (sold untranslated) signed by him, dated between 1882 and 1887, all addressed to the dramatist, theater director, and actor Hilarion Ballande (1820-1887). Italian writer and journalist (1855-1905), secretary of the Italian Academy of Heraldry, and remembered for being the second editor of the Yearbook of the Italian nobility from 1893 to 1904. Lot of seven large autograph letters signed by him, dated between 1886 and 1890 by him. All letters are presumably addressed to the art critic Henry Lapauze.
