English novelist and civil servant (1815-1882). Autograph letter signed by him setting up an appointment, no date. Size is 4.5 x 7.25 inches, 2 written pages in 1 folio (front and back), minor stains, otherwise in excellent condition.

British naval officer and politician (1764-1840) who served during the American War of Independence. Autograph letter in French signed by him. Size is 4.6 x 7.3 inches, three written pages in one folded sheet, in very good condition.

Filipino diplomat (1899-1985), statesman, soldier, journalist, and author. Card signed by him mounted with a half-tone photo of him shown at the left. Size is 4.1 x 5.8 inches, in excellent condition.

French-born Statesman (1933-2003). Black-and-white photograph signed by him in 1966 as High Commissioner. Size is 3.8 x 5.6 inches, in excellent condition.

Finnish politician (1889-1963). Fine card signed by him mounted on a small clip with his photograph. Size is 4.1 x 5.75 inches, in very good condition.

Czech-born composer (1921-2016) and conductor, winner of the 1969 Puliter Prize for Music. 2-bar autograph music quote from his String Quartet #3 signed by him on February 1994 on a full page. Size is 8.5 x 10.9 inches, in excellent condition.

American Jazz pianist and vocalist (1919-1965), his real name was Nathaniel Adams Coles, famous for his many popular song recordings. Fine brochure title Nat King Cole in Sights and Sounds signed by him on the cover, and also signed by the choral group on their photo page. Size is 8.9 x 12 inches, some wear, otherwise in very good condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a small booklet.

Austrian composer (1879-1964), author, editor, socialité and wife of the famous composer Gustav Mahler from 1902 until Gustav's death in 1911. Autograph letter signed by her asking for a score of Der Götterdämmerung. Size is 10.9 x 8.5 inches, 1 page, folds, otherwise in excellent condition. Original envelope is ALSO INCLUDED.

Nice black-and-white promo photo postcard signed by him with a short music quote on verso from his opera Violanta; blind-stamped on the front by Franz Löwy (Vienna). German composer (1895-1982), famous for his cantata Carmina Burana (1937) and other choral works. Fine black-and-white photograph signed by him, shown in his elder years; ink-stamped on verso by photographer Felicitas. Size is 5 x 6.9 inches, a bit faded, in very good condition.

American aviator (1902-1974), military officer, and author who made the first nonstop flight from New York to Paris in 1927. Nice sepia promo photo postcard signed by him with a short text with the date of his famous nonstop flight New York-Paris. Size is 3.4 x 5.3 inches, in excellent condition.

Georgian-born American choreographer (1904-1983), one of the most influential figures, co-founder of the New York City Ballet, and was its artistic director for over 35 years. Italian bass (1861-1928) who debuted in 1883 at Varese in Carlos Gomes' opera Il Guarany. Large photograph by Mishkin (New York) signed and inscribed by Arimondi with a short sentiment dated in New York, 1908, shown in role, mounted on a photographer mat. Total size is 7.9 x 13.6 inches, repaired crack at the top, otherwise in very good condition.

Italian soprano (1877-1955), starred in the world premiere production of Pietro Mascagni's Isabeau in 1911. Fantastic black-and-white signed and inscribed by her to Ettore Panizza with a short sentiment dated 1915, mounted on a photographer mat by Varischi & Artico (Milan). Belgian violinist (1921-1986) famous for his consistently beautiful tone and flawless intonation, considered one of the greatest violinist of the twentieth century. His signature cut and a photo of him in black-and-white above, mounted on mat for a total size of 8.6 x 13.5 inches, in excellent condition.

Swedish soprano (1863-1947) whose strong and dramatic voice best suited to the works of Richard Wagner. Short autograph text quote signed by her in 1938 mounted on a mat with a modern-printed photo of her as Brunhilde (with a facsimile signature in white). Total size is 16.5 x 11.75 inches, quote is 8 x 7.2 inches (visible window size), in very good condition.
